Ok, I'll hit 20 (again, with another toon) on a human fighter turning into warrior. Should I save for top D grade 2hand sword, top d duals, or just mid grade stuff? I guess same question goes for my DE 21 palus knight, since I swap gear between the 2.
Do raids. You will get an excellent amount of adena from them to afford that D grade.
When I get home, I will pm you a raid boss name that drops anywhere from 30-60 ead's everytime it dies, and it's lvl 25 or something (At work now, and I dont remember its name). Get some friends to do it, share the drops and buy that d grade weapon from selling ead's. On bartz they sell for 100k like cupcakes. And they used to be only 30k.

I'm a big fan of upgrading as you go. If you still have the novice shots, keep the ng weapon until you run out.. Buy the cheapest or mid d weapon, hunt the catacombs and use the aa to upgrade it.

So going back to my question, would it be better for me to go 2hand sword or duals, or is it all a matter of preference? Is one more effective in PVE than the other? Cheaper?
You have to buy two one-handed swords to combine into a pair of dual weilds, so why don't you just buy 1 saber and use it and a shield while you save for the other saber. Combine the two sabers once you have them and just keep buying the next grade and combining.
I will help you with raid bosses of course, but I'm not sure if the two of us will fair well against them. What we need is a guild to join. Even a low level guild.

That would take forever to post. You can find it all under "weapons" in the Library. It would really give you something to do while your at work, waiting to play L2.
