I am a returning player after a few month break. I left before C4 and dont understand the whole common crafting thing. Where do you get the recipes for stuff like heal pots and such. Sorry for being a noob ....but I guess I am again. Thanx.

All common crafting recipes come from one of two place.
1)Fishing - When you catch a fish, you can click the fish to 'convert' it. (50% chance to fail) once converted it becomes either a fish material, a common craft recipe, or an accessory material.
2)Clan halls - Clan halls have the option to buy common craft recipes for adena. Each hall has a different recipe(s) it can buy. These are currently only accessory recipes IIRC.
I'm fairly certain that you can only get fish oil recipes from fishing. -I've never gotten anything else on either of my fishermen, and I haven't seen anyone say otherwise.
The accessory and potion recipes come from clan halls.
