Precision. That's how it was in C3, that's how it is in C4.
AKA buy a clock that is set to the exact time to the mili second? Sounds a bit expensive >.>
In C3 I just spammed it and beat the bots most of the time. Then C4 rolled around and I thought I was getting totally slaughtered for some reason. Stupid NCSoft moving their servers to central!
EDIT: BTW I can't seem to figure something out. My scout is level 23 on Hindemith and I'm using Lute Coda's (level 20-30) and I'm farming level 21-24 mobs. But, the Lute Coda's are failing about half the time... wtf?? I didn't buy the "Alternative" ones. Any idea why it's failing like crazy?
Never heard of radio controlled clocks? I use my regular alarm, which cost approximately 13 dollars at current conversion rates. Bought it in a bakery.
If you spammed and made it, you couldn't have been competing with many players handing in precisely - because spammers are the very easiest to beat. ;)
Lute coda also seems to be mislabelled - it works better around level 30.

for free, no need to buy any radio Radio Precision Clock or any GPS device or whatever. Get a program or other program's plugin that synchronizes you clock from public NTP servers and maintain your computer's clock accurate when no connectivity is available. Accuracy goes to like "Adjusted 0.0263ms" so no worries.
Lute codas are ... lute codas. They just fail, that's in their nature :) Try find a mob that accepts them best - I found spiders at fellmere or those flying transparent ladies in EG, might be just my imagination tho - or use them on 2x-4x HP mobs (Eyes around Dion used to be 2x, orc barracks, Forgotten temple, 7 signs dungeon mobs, partisan hideway).
