Hello, I'm new to Lineage II and have had problems in the past with third party programs, so I was wondering if anyone knows if instant messengers and Ventrillo work while using Lineage II? And I also know some games run Warden programs that ban people if it detects third party programs, assuming you're using a radar or some other form of exploit.

Ventrilo and TeamSpeak are allowed, and the game builds in an MSC Instant Messenger option (which I have not used.)
Lineage uses GameGuard to prevent third party program use. It will not start the game if it detects a program on its list as being active on your computer.
If you manage to get past GameGuard and use a third party program anyway, your account could be banned. Detection methods and risk percentage is not revealed by NCSoft. I recommend not using any third party software.
the only third party software that is not allowed are the ones designed specifically to help/alter your gaming experience in lineage 2... IE botting etc. Since ventrilo and instant messaging software is not created to modify lineage 2 it is not illegal.
