Recommend or \evaluate system

Hy guys.

Newbie question: does anyone knows EXACTLY how does this system works? I mean, one day i´ve got evaluated, and next day those points are not there anylonger... why is that? I´ve tryed to search through but could´nt find anything about that on foruns, so I guess it´s a silly question, but it´s killing me here
You lose 2 recs a day basically, at 1pm server time. The reason for this is so you need to keep getting recs, in order to turn your name blue.

So get a minimum of three recs a day in order to keep one point.
you lose 1 evaluation every day. so you must keep earning themto keep the blue name.
That´s tricky... you loose 1 or 2 points a day??
You loose 3 EVERY day. t's not 1 and it's not 2 either.

Also you gain back all your 'rec' you can put on others every day at the same time.
This is the way the recommendation system works:

!WTT RECS!!!!!
!WTT RECS!!!!!
!WTT RECS!!!!!
!WTT RECS!!!!!
!WTT RECS!!!!!
!WTT RECS!!!!!

Then you get a blue name. Whee. Of course, originally (I'm guessing here, might be wrong) it was meant to work in the way that people would do things others considered worthy of a recommendation. Those grateful people would recommend, and over time the helpful/friendly/whatever person would amass quite a number of people who knew him/her as a good person, and would maybe even toss a new rec at him/her every time they saw each other. That way anyone who saw a blue name would know that the person with the blue name in all likelihood would be a respectful and trustworthy person.

Then the idiot playerbase of L2 realized the recs renew each day, and as long as you get more than you lose each day you get bluer all the time. And so rec trading is born. Now every farmer train is full of blues, so the system is pretty much for (IMO) ugly blue names some consider "cool".

I know I keep my evaluations unused unless I REALLY think someone deserves my vote of confidence. And even then I ask if they want a rec before I give one, because I myself would rather keep the white name (which, ironically, is more "unique" these days, just like people without party masks). I sometimes ask people doing the "WTT REC" thing if they know what the system is meant for, and so far I haven't seen anyone give any answer other than "?", ...duhhh...????????????" (with the accompanying blank stare).

Edit:

You loose 3 EVERY day. t's not 1 and it's not 2 either.

Also you gain back all your 'rec' you can put on others every day at the same time.

The loss varies with levels. It's 3 past 40 IIRC, not before.
People are ******* themselves for recs left and right. A blue name means nothing to me.

If you have not completed first job change, you lose 1 per day.

If you have completed first but not second job change, you lose 2 per day.

If you have completed second job change, you lose 3 per day.

You loose 3 EVERY day. t's not 1 and it's not 2 either.

This is false.
I like the light blue names. Too lazy to bother, though.
I just took my 4 chars on another account and rec'd the one on another account every day... took me about a week and a half to turn her blue :P

People with blue names are better than you.
Tks for your answers guys

-Or if you're a friendly buffer. Then it happens all by itself.

That's my favourite too ^_^
I don't really like the deep blue so much.

People with blue names are better than you.

They are. It's depressing.
