Grade Penalty Lvl 1 Questions

I know this may be a noobies question but what is a Grade Penalty? What are the consequences of this? If not harsh can I still ware the armor?

Thank you for your help

For every piece of out-of-grade armor and jewelry you wear, you lose speed. If you use an out-of-grade weapon, your accuracy takes a nosedive.

Don't wear out-of-grade armor. If you want to level 1-20 with a D grade weapon, it is possible. You just have to spam soulshots and only kill stuff that you can kill in 2 hits.

But generally, don't use anything out-of-grade. Penalties can get you killed.

01-19 No Grade
20-39 D Grade
40-51 C Grade
