Orc Mystic Question

Who's been all the way to Doomcryer or Dominator? I know one is offensive and the other more defensive. Which is a better path, or in more demand? I just returned to the game and wanted to start leveling up my Orc shaman again.
if you dont have a strong clan and just like to have random parties, go DOOMCRIER (warcrier). but if you solo and siege and have a big famdamtastic alliance that you wont be leaving real soon, go Dominator (OL)
*raises hand and jumps around* mememe :P:p

Doominator is the debuffer of ur enimies. He can mass root, mass slow, mass silence. They r also known for alliance buffing the basics (might, shield, ww,zerk, m def, evasion) ONLY alliance they can't buff outside the allaince.

This is what makes the dommintor THE seige character, they can make the difference between winning and losing

However they are no good to group in or out of ur ally. Most allies let them semi-leech for the pvp benifit

Warcryers- The Buffer They have all the basics plus the extoic buffs (like haste2, vr, reflect dmg, Chant of victory (my favorite), ) They love to be grouped and can solo better than the domintor

No one will ever match the WC buff speed (I can buff in under 2 secs)\
Overlords are great for mage parties, due to acumen and zerk, and to a lesser degree bless shield. It's also very nice to have the OL for shield and ww. It's really a mana saver for SE and EE.
ehhhh

assuming they r in the same ally.. and the OL is high enough for zerk...

Prophets will always own in that dept.. with btb and bts and the ability to heal well
Well, yeah.. OLs have acumen 3 and zerk 2 at 56, just a bit higher than the prophet. My clan use OLs for mage parties all the time, and they fit in nicely.
I'm not saying prophets aren't good. Just that OLs are good in mage parties. Heart of Paagrio is also quite useful for the body to mind'ing mages.
OLs are also good for a particular style of AoE. :) As an ES, I really love duoing them even on passive group mobs - and I know it's better when you can actually pull two or three groups. ^.^
OL's rule on the seige field. My clan has 3 OL's which make my ally formidable on the seige field well beyond our levels. And ... we take darned good care of them! Nothing like 3 OL's with heart and CP heals not to mention those buffs and debuffs tucked away in strategic hard to spot and separated places to give your ally an incredible edge. OL's just keep getting stronger and more useful as they level.

But if you don't have a strong clan/ally and run with pickup groups, then WC is the way to go. An OL in a mixed party isn't exactly a desireable addition to that party. An OL in a clan or ally party is ALWAYS welcome.
OL's are still good with out being in a ally/clan party. I tank on my OL with a heavy setup and I start with frost flame, then seal of winter then maybe seal of poison. Those three right there are enough to have an OL in group.
agreed most ppl just think of OL as buffers but with soul guard/soulcry the definatly make sufficaint tanks and handy DD's. I recall on the pts for c4 after the boost my OL skilled up soulguard and soulcry took my Heavy war axe and went to work on anything melee based. works quite well even when your 75
Thanks for the feedback,

The OL path sounds rather nice to me. I'd like to run a DE SE as well and don't know if I'll have the time.
