Tallum light for WC?

I have aquired tallum light for cheap, was gonna make crystals, but then I thought, hmm maybe use it on my warcryer? This was what I was considering originally, but I've been using a DC robe since I hit A grade. I have tallum robe on my main class, so I've got the helmet.I'd just have to get the gloves and boots.
The DC set isn't mine, and it would be nice to have my own set.

My plan:
Get +5 Wit -5 Men to cancel out the -2 Wit, so I get +3 wit.
What I gain, is better MP regen and more MP, and a stunning appearance ^_-
And better P.def, since well, light gives better p.def and I have more levels of light masteries since I used light for B grade, and I haven't had enough SP to get all robe masteries.

I just wanna know if this is entirely too stupid, and if I'll regret it.

PS I look HOT in tallum light ^_^
+3 WIT in light without cast speed bonus is roughly equivalent to +1 WIT in robes without cast speed.

Just based on that, I wouldn't do it.

:/ I still want Tallum Light though, because it does look so hot on almost everyone. T_T Why make such a handsome set so worthless?
**** that sucks. I guess I'll have to devote some time to just looking at myself wearing it instead then. :(
I hear you. If they just made it -INT/+WIT or -MEN/+WIT it would have been a very good caster set... but no...
Yeah, really.

I've been looking at the stats, and I cant figure out what class tallum light would be good for. I can only think of daggers with silent walk (with the mp bonus), and even then majestic would be better (for silent walking. And only spies has that as a priority - who equips their spies with a grade?). There's no light set that's good for mages. What a jip!
Archers, probably ... but Majestic is, of course, better for them. '__'; It just makes no sense. Even Avadon Light has a class it's good for, and most people will agree that it has a pitiful bonus (it's popular among summoners these days, by the way - darning carry capacity!).
**** archers... THEY HAVE ENOUGH!!
Some archers even opt for DC light, which is a good choice for them too.
wouldn't it work pretty good on a tyrant? They don't have much for spells afaik, and with totems constantly running the mp would be nice. I don't know much about tyrants, so I'm just guessing here.
Tyrant crossed my mind as well. But its not *the best* for tyrant, its only "not bad" imo.
I don't know about C5, but C3 (and I dont think anything changed in C4?) totem cost is pretty much regained by the time you need a new totem. But if you wanna use other skills, more mp is good, definitely. Though, if I was still playing tyrant, I'd probably go DC light.
Ive tried it.. I know other WC's who stake their lives on it, and it isn't a bad setup

But I couldn't handle that cast speed.. it hurt me. I like crowd control and this set isn't the best for it.

In the early 60's when mp is tight I can see a viable use for it.. but in the latter lvls I can't

P def-- bw light gives u better if u want a light set and with hp drain of mob's it doesn't matter about 50 p def

mp regen in full groups the extra mp is put to waste as ur standard healer won't wait for a light set CoL

I think its only use is for duo/trio's in cata's... Then again those r good xp, Robe was just better for them
I think Im just gonna stick to DC robes (hope to eventually get my own), no matter how pretty the tallum is. I need the casting speed for CoL (it takes forever to cast now). The buffs are fast enough, since its the whole party at once.
I don't really have problems with mana currently, and I'm always either in full party (or almost) or duo.

Thank you both for your input :)
Tallum light looks fantastic on DE chicks. Keep it!
So... How about Nightmare robe? I'd really like to get some more M.atk. If I get +5 wit (so I'll have +3 wit) would that give me a decent casting speed? (Assuming I can get the helmet T_T)
Or I can just use tallum robe + branch. Then I have more speed and m.atk - though tallum is -2 int, it'll still be ok with branch, and I can stun. It just looks ridiculous when you melee with a staff...
branch for pvp only, for pve it blows hard (well any blunt blows for pve).
tallum light again -- looks so unique and dreadfully ****, dont pick anything else!
Okay.. Well, when pvp occurs, there's no time to go back to town and get pvp equipment. I don't go out ganking a lot.

I'll never be an uber DD (because I don't want to lower my con), but I'd like to do *some* damage. I've been flirting with the idea of getting a elysian with health (will go without SA for a LONG time, I suspect). But m.atk with blunt is teh suck. I currently have an AOBA+5 /health. I want to keep using a blunt for stun.
[censored] all this, I'm getting tallum heavy! It looks hot too!
thinking about going talum light for my PS so I can keep up with the soulles mana drain, going full out melee I would only need to cast a heal now and then, also carrying a SoV + mabye even the robe set for emergency casting
At least one of us get to enjoy the hotness of tallum light :p
