After taking a long break, I decided to give L2 another try. I quit shortly before Chronicle 2. I'm sick of all the little kids on WoW that complain about foul language. SOE is doing what they did to EQ on EQ2 with the mass expansionism. DDO and GW too easy to max level. I have a few questions. Are the farmers and the economy still as bad as it was before? Has PVP finally been balanced? I remembered that bishops were pretty crappy at it and they were getting even more nerfs. I will probably be playing my 40 bishop. I'll probably be looking for a clan. I seriously doubt my RL friends I started this game with are playing anymore. I know a few were talking about WoW even right before I quit. Being in the Navy, I havent seen them in over a year since I transfered. If anyone remembers MissFebruary send me a tell in game. I also had a dwarf scav but can't log on yet cause of patching so I cant remember her name.

anyways the economy has gone to hell this chronicle, prices of base mats and certain equipment has gone skyrocket. I think there are quite a couple of low-mid level clans out there who could use a bishop.

You can't expect them to be good at it, they're not meant for PVP. They've never been, and they can't get nerfed when they don't even have any PVP skills...

Seriously, I've not run in enough PvPs with either bishops or EEs to judge which of them is the better PvP healer - I do suppose it's very situational. If in doubt, I'd always love advanced block though. :( Archers are mean and sting!
for pvp, i'd have to go with the EE, but the bishop rocks too..hmmm. With the EE i can get one of the most valuable to me personally, decrease weight. When i have to carry ss, pet ss, bsps, pet bsps, ghp, and gcp just to pvp, decrease weight is all the more valuable because it means a few more gcp etc. and if the whole fight is going to hell, you can party return.
But with a bishop, having the buff which gives you more hp when you're healed can save you, having the best heals too, body of avatar <3 it since it lands on my summon.
Hmmm, for pvp, i'm not sure which i'd take, the EE for a few great buffs/party return/decent heals, or a bishop for a few great buffs/best heals/mass rez (if a bunch of you are dead close together, it can easily change the turnout of the fight).
And, in c5 rumours are that healers have been owning nukers. I'm assuming archers too. They get a skill that drains your mp so they just sleep the target, spam it, then kill them with a melee weapon.

misconstrued idea. it takes away a fair amount of MP, but not a lot. also considering nukers and in c5 now all archers too will have B2M that drain is counteractable.
dont expect to blow all your target's MP. remember you cant see how much he has left anyway.

Welcome back to L2.
You used to group with my Dwarf scav, Lissy in cruma and other places alot. Most of the time, it was up near oren to spoil stuff.
I'm surprised how quick this thread turned into a pvp discussion. If it was a WoW Druid forum, you guys would get a /waffle.
Anyway, it seems I have been having trouble finding groups. Does noone every go to Dragon valley any more? I've been spending hours there soloing and leveling my hatchling and shouting lfg and getting no replies. I did go to catacombs for a little bit but it reminds me too much of Cruma. I would prefer to be out doing quests like at Gator island.
Also I could use help finding quests. All I seem to find is the repeatables that only give cash. I would like to find some non-repeatables that give exp also.
