I would like to make a public notice of a wonderful experience I had with a GM on Lionna. I cannot remember his name, but here's the story:
I had ported from HV to Anghel's Waterfall, to do a raid with my alliance. In the past, I'd glitched out when I got near Forest of Mirrors, but I'd never tried the area in question.
Well, soon as I go black from the teleport, I glitch. Unbeknownst to me, I had teleported in and ran off and aggroed something. The result: I fell down and dropped my Avadon Gloves, and I didn't even know.
So I logged onto an alt and petitioned a GM, unsure of what the result would be. I had noticed, at the log-in screen, my gloves were missing, so I dropped a line to my alliance mates who asked me to log back in and wait for them, they'd rescue at least my gear.
I log back in, and I'm there maybe 30 seconds before I fade in back in Hunter's Village. Yay! At least now I can see. I go in to check my inventory, to see what else I may have dropped, and lo and behold, there are my Avadon gloves.
GMs are a fantastic creature made up to scare children like the boogyman. And if they exsisted they would only exsist to spread fear and misery amoung the majoirty. Like the republicans.
I'm very glad they returned your Avadon gloves. :) However, if they would fix whatever stupid thing that causes the glitch in the first place, the whole thing never would have happened! One of my computers does this every time I even get near FoM. I have to log out and go to another computer, log in and port out or else I'd be stuck there forever. It's stupid.
Wow you got really lucky. I once glitched off the side of the DVC bridge on the way to a huge raid to Antharas. I petitioned a GM and it was auto closed telling me GM's are only there for emergencies.

Rofl...I petitioned yesterday to find out if cursing was allowed in non english languages. I was told to repetittion the question with specific names.
