Hi all. i want to buy strider but i have one question. i have listen from some ppl if you have strider and mount on it they can not let you to have weapon and only nobless can, some another guy say you can have weapon and with out nobless.
Uh...no it's not. Though my nukes don't hit as hard and I cast a bit slower, I can still kill mobs while on the strider. Granted, I don't grind while on the strider; I only kill mobs that agro me while running from place to place. My matk unbuffed is 1100, and on the strider it's 1050. So not that much of a difference.

malee wise.. they are useless.. as our patk drops from 1100 to 50-60....

When you mount, your weapon/shield is unequipped. You can still use your skills to fight but truly it depends on the type of strider you have to determine whether or not your damage output is much at all.
On LordVaako, my Star strider, my SH sub casts a little slower and has a little lower matk but not much. If I was on my BD main, I'd only have the abilities of the strider (low patk) to fight with.
Striders are over rated i had many. I had dusk and they were very weak cuoldnt do anything so i raised a Wind strider.. it had stun and a ultimate defence type of thing and a lvl 30 nuker cuold kill him in a pvp
