I hope that wasn't a quote from Ncsoft, cause wouldn't this be the 5th expansion?

And while i want to touch on another part of that review and laugh at it, i won't cause that will get it removed. BUT you can count on a PM Mistryl and me laughing about it.

Beats the 923 out of me. I didn't start until C2.

Chronicle 1 is expansion 1.
Chronicle 5 is expansion 5.

Its either a mistype or an error.

No the official retail release said chronicle one so that would be the original game with 2 being the first expansion and prelude meaning beta

But when the game released at retail... It was at prelude. Then came the first expansion which was C1, C2, C3, C4 and now C5.

If i've counted my toes correctly that five. :)

I didn't play C1, I started with the Open Beta and then Prelude was the release.

Yeah, I saw this article but was a bit dissapointed. I suppose that is why I didn't post a link to it.

True, from that perspective it is the 4th expansion. NA wasn't even supposed to be Prelude, but go to C1, but there were AFAIR issues that prevented them from launching the game with C1, so they launched with Prelude.

So what else has anyone heard about this new chaotic sword? No karma penalty or exp & item loss for the victim. I think this might be something fun to watch. I can see someone powerful taking over a whole area, with the right support, which they'll have.

Its not quite as good as it sounds, but when you pick it up the entire server will have an effect happen and they will be told its been picked up by you and where.

Hillarious if its a bot train that picked it up, lol.

Well, I don't know about karma penalty.. I think I read that the instant you pick it up, you'll have max karma possible, but you won't gain pk count when you kill.

Yes, you get 99.999 karma that can't change.

When you lose the sword, do you lose the Karma?

otherwise you would be delvled to 1 by the time you worked it off
