Root failing more than usual?

The past week, my root has failed *a lot* more than usual. Today it even failed 3 times in a row, and I wasn't having shot lag - no lag at all actually.
Has anyone else had the same experience? I just think it's really odd...
My equipment hasn't changed, and it's failing on mobs I normally have no problem rooting. -My sleep however, is landing a lot O_o I'm starting to think a GM is screwing with me O_O
I get that sometimes. At ToI using my level 35 sleep I landed it on one of those Floor 7 whozit shamans without bsps and amazed myself. And then two days before that I failed on a dark blue mob 6 times in a row using bsps each time. Meh to sleep and root.
you should ting, zerking the mob first then useing root.

incase you forgot, zerk lowers M DF. = better chance to land root. who cares if you flag for like 15 secounds.
I would, but I don't have that skill, and my zerk battery can only buff alliance. Even if I could, I don't have time to do that if a mob needs rooting lol (though it beats failing 3 times in a row). Though it's a very valid technique in nuker parties that has a prophet and don't have a necro for gloom.
It's just like my spell interuptions, I rarely get interupted then when I was grinding like crazy to 52 I was getting interupted by a freaking 20 dmg hit. I think I died 4x on that **** level.
Well, I recently got interrupted with an Excellent Shield Block - 1 damage. So I'm slowly beginning to believe that maybe interruptions don't take damage into account.
You might of said this but where you using sleep on a mob? because sometimes even without lag some mobs can't be slept or they are extremely harder o slep then other mobs! I've experienced that myself on my Prophet!
yeah, this is only concerning mobs.

About interruption, recently I cancelled someone's SoE with windstrike; 1 damage hehe. I don't know if it's the same with spell interruption, but I've previously been interrupted by very little damage as well.
Ya so depending on the mob it can be extremely difficult to root hem and sometimes after 3 times it will kick in and other times it wont work at all even after 1 try it might work but theres nothing wrong with the spell it's actually the mob your hitting is the reason behind why your spell wont work sometimes! I know it sucks but... every class has to have a weekness towards mobs!~
Well, as I said, prior to this week I never had a problem, hence my confusion.
I give up then LOL I'm not sure I've had problems on and off with root but not just suddenly out of nowhere! Good Luck :p
Hehe thanks :p
