Ok i'm totally new to L2 i can live with being a noob for now...But atm i'm stuck on Teon server in gludin village, i went there for a pet quest not realising i needed to pay 6k !! to get back...great every bot is equppied better than me..and i cannot even raise cash to teleport for simple quests...if anyone on teon would be kind enough to help me out i'd be very grateful.. sorry if this is is wrong section , but extremely fustrated.
The pets are fun, but once you get one it also costs even more money to keep (IE Feed) and porting is a big no no early on. I know the start area's get boring, but i would head back to Orc Land after you do your wolf quest (Run, dont port) until you do your 20 class change.

Actually i don't mind the tedium of levelling. I had no idea i had to pay to port back though..as i said learning a new game from scratch atm.. when u say run back..u mean from gludin to Orc village !!!...that will take a week for me lol...without dieing of course.

and when i was your lvl porting anywhere didnt even occur to me
in fact at lvl 50 i was still running in between towns
realy any new player areas work there lal basickleythe same but you miss out on ytour raical quests you ca btry touthof gluido or wak to light elf/dark elf new towns also of course the bots are better equiped theayve bene playing for 2 years and you for what a week O_o ide lose that mind set if i were you

Its been a while since i did it (I did the same thing you did, only a year ago lol). Its kind of nice if you stay on the road, and youll see some new stuff.

Actually the first part of any of the wolf quests entails killing spiders in the starting area of whatever race you are. Which means Orcs, Humans and Dwarves have to go home to do do the spider part, then come back to do the rest.
If you stick to the roads, you can safely run to the dark elven or elven village and raise a bit of money there. There is a lovely quest to hunt easy mushroom mobs from elf town, and a very similar one for dark elves, both accessible to orcs.
I would also, even although I'm European, stay away from Teon. The political power structures are messed up, the server appears to be infested with bots even worse than others, and last but not least often suffers hardware issues.
I suggest that you go to DE village, then speak to a dwarf at warehouse there. He will send you on a little errand that will bring you back to gludin, and you will have earned some cash.
Mind you the bots being better equipped than me is seriously depressing.. maybe this was just the icing on an already old looking cake.
I think most experienced players will be better equipped than you. Also, I don't think you're quite been playing long enough to be able to tell the difference between regular players and bots. Though Teon does have many of them.
wow porting at lvl 15, I never wanted to waste money on porting between towns untill I was in my 50s on my second toon or so.
second class change quest is such a pain running everywhere ~.~

I don't give adena to people who beg for it, im sure alot of people don't. If you want to earn money do the newbie quests around your home town , they give ss + heal pots + money sometimes.
