Why doesn't L2 have a trial? almost all games have got it. I have a few friends who want to try out the game but they don't want to pay for it just to try it out for a few to see if they like it.
I can't speak for anyone else but my husband and I are from GW and we are trying L2 out however I wish someone would explain what makes L2 worth the loss of items on death. I don't understand doesn't it make it frustrating trying to get good items? :(

It makes getting the good items worth having that much more. You'd finally get that armor and think,
"I'M KING OF THE WORLD!"
Well, at the beginning the loss of items can be frustrating, but you get used to it...
ie you make sure u don't die ;) The more you play and the higher you get, the less you will die.
When you are in a party, if someone dies, the first thing the other member(s) should do is spam the pick up button to prevent others from stealing your stuff.
Also, most people are nice enough to give you back your stuff. If someone doesn't give it back, then get some high level friends to kill that person many many times (and no I don't feel any shame, stealing is stealing whether in game or out :p)
We chose Hindemith cause most servers said PvP/PKers and that scared me to death...lol...right now I feel like I'm just doing the same thing over and over since most of my time has been spent on the ground or returning to the village..Not to bad so far only dropped 2 things and both were there when I returned..Thanks to everyone for their answers and not yelling noob u should know the answer, like I received in GW :(
and if anyone knows someone who would like to try, I have one free trial key.
Yes, i'm trying to get one of my best friends to play Lineage, but he's hard to convince because of the cost, i guess a free trial would be the solution !

Aqua we moved to Gustin..lol...after reading your post hubby said let's move just to be able to know someone :) I can't seem to pm or anything yet since it's a trial but I will probably sign up when it ends on the 7th :) Quick question while I am here I know I should just make a new post however, my husband and I usually just play the 2 of us together so would it pay me to go Oracle or should I do something like summoner or wizzard? As for your post and offer to help out Aqua I thank u but I'm not against working for my items however your friendship would help us greatly :) Once again thank u for the offer though.
Working on combo's is allways a good idea when you both play together most of the times. Oracle / Wiz combo or Archer-Melee / Prophet combo. Most of all its important you enjoy playing your char. Never been a summoner player my self but if that is what you like most, who am I to tell you to do different :)
