NCSoft, with the exception of the Pumpkin event, the following events after that have well... yeah not been all that exciting. The Cross server tournament was cool, but only Bartz got to use the gatekeeper so the rest of the servers kinda forgot that there was an event anyhow!
I would like to see more events like the 4th of July (i hope you have that planned again this year!) or even better the Halloween event. I think every 4 months or so is good timing for these type of events. The 4th of July -> Halloween span of all those excessive items can "appear" to ruin the market, however, I believe it just balances it. The Castle owners cry that they aren't making a profit, when infact, as someone who has owned a castle, I know what profits are made.
They are simply upset they can't sell those EWC's for 1 mil each when these events happen. Which, is ridiculous anyway in my opinion! I believe these events help to balance out the market a fair amount, as well as to aid people in exping with the l2-day scrolls. Also! Some of the best pvping and clan hunting I've done was searching for those random raidboss spawns, then fighting off other alliances while killing the boss. They're good times, everyone enjoys them, lets see more of them!
Actually, the castle owners don't cry - they just cut down the manor buyback amount and happily watch materials inflate: Their profits aren't touched, they can just push their losses on the manorers after all. :)
Yeah, more enchants would be nice. Hopefully its not just raidbosses we get, because they'll only be content for a select few alliances that will pretty much farm them 24/7 and griefing everyone else.
Would be extremely disappointing if thats the only profitable event NA has :/

The castle owner were the ones crying last time. They were threatening to cut down buyback prices, but as far as i can tell that didn't even happen.
It affected very few seeds and only on a few servers. And besides, you could still manor AND get the nectar and such from mobs, so its even more profit for those who manor anyway.
No - it was people who manored who cried about the cut in buyback prices that did actually happen, by as much as 50% on some seeds.
Why would castle lords buy back for anymore then they have to. If they can buy 100% of the seeds back at 150a y would they buy it back at 200a? It doesn't earn them anything extra.
A thread which was also made by a castle holder - if i'm not mistaken - and has basicly the same content.
Oh yeah and those threads are full with doomsday postings about how it could kill the manor system and how worthless it the castles makes. The servers i'm playing on haven't shown any reaction to events at all. Buyback prices and a working manor system are random luck for the farmer anyways.
screw july 4th, you guys got that last year... bring on July 1st event... Canada day!
within the next 10 years I predict canada will just give up and join the U.S.
haha..
funny how the US dollar is dropping and the canadian is already a few cents away from surpassing it.. not to mention all the canadians that not only invented/built, but created the society you live in currently :p
Currently we own the US... but no one in the US will admit to that :)
4th july event was awful... I hope they don't intend to have this again on Teon. Not only the event was awfully designed, but having europe celebrating US independance day is really weird.
We had enough difficulties throwing them out after ww2 (not all european countries were so lucky though).

rotfl...
i like how 99% of the games produced and shows produced (movies as well) how the US is depicted as "saving" the european *cough* butts *cough*... and to even go as far as to completely... blindly show that absalutely no canadian involvement ..rotfl.. joke imo..
IMO, NA NCSoft needs to actually apply itself as a North American company rather then a specific US only... It's quite ironic and irritating to get to see North America plastered all over the place, and then reading the fine details it says "US"....
I'd love to see a European set of holiday events... would be pretty slick!
I don't really care about the economy, I just want some event like the 4th of July Event where monsters raided outside of town. Also, the Halloween event (first one) where it said something was going for Aden was a sweet thing except it was kind of weak. Do the secret type of Halloween event with the force of the 4th of July Event and put some little bunnies for a side. :D
