I know I am being a pain and I apologize for this, my question is am I missing something with the dark elf and elf?
Tyallie lvl 11 elf mage same gear as Ryiah lvl 11 dark elf mage, Tyallie can go and go until her mana is out Ryiah on the other hand gets owned on the first hit. Any suggestions?

sry about not giving much detail..The DE either ends up dying or looses at least half her life..didn't think about kiting I was playing her just like I do my LE and I guess this just doesn't work..ty..will just remember it's a different playstyle. I knew they did better damage it's alot of why I decided to try the DE..thanks again.

You are not the first to do this.
I've seen so many people stand there and get hit while they try to cast on their Dark Elves. Part of this might be because other games don't use kiting so much so they are used to standing their and hopeing that they kill their enemy/prey before they die.
Dark elves are slow, therefore they kite. Once you get the hange of this you will see li'l cricket. Oh... only kill mobs that you can either 2 hit or 3 hit maximum. Two is better.
