If you use a pet to solo im pretty sure your pet reduces the xp you get.
You can solo a healer from lvl 1 to lvl 25 by nuking the mobs pretty easily... you dont need a pet to help you out. From 20-25 hunt mobs right outside Dion (with Wind strike)
If you absolutly want to solo as a healer after that you will have to hunt real easy mobs or hunt undead and use your "distroy undead" skill (lots of downtime for mana)
My opinion if you really want to be able to solo:
Go Prophet. Solo from 1 to 25 with nukes. Stay in groups to lvl from 25-40 (cause your a healer). After lvl 40 get heavy armor and good duals and have fun soloing if you want. Soloing will get easier as you lvl past 40 because you get more fighter buffs. I started soloing somewhat at lvl 52
But someone correct me if im wrong.... but having a pet killing the mobs for you... especially something like a wolf ... doesnt that kill your xp ?
EDIT: If you want to go a "PURE" healer/buffer that would be an SE... but you cant solo.... A prophet is a pure buffer that acts like a fighter between buffs thus can solo
Ok so solo'ing with a pet kills xp... will it still do that if I do somewhat alot of dmg? I want pets for sure tho...
like haveing pets and I like beeing a healer :)
(in wow I am a priest and a hunter and warlock... in anarchy online I was a doc and a crat (also pet class))
is there any place where I can see skill tree's and so on? trying to look for it self to...
I have no clue why people keep insisting prophets are the most valid choice for soloing - the only three things they really have over a Shillien Elder are zerk, holy weapon and heavy armour mastery. Does this outweigh the lack of windshackle (an often sorely underestimated spell), emergency spells, empower and vampiric rage? I don't think so.
Of course, the best soloing healer types will always be the orcs, but nobody loves them. :>

On the Home Page, click on Library, then select Races, Classes & Skills, then pick your race. This brings up a page for that race. Click on Skills, and you get a listing of all classes in that race. Click on the class you are interested in, and it brings up a page where you can look at all the skills, for each level you pick in the box on the top right of the box listing the skills. Like this. have you considered summoner? they have multiple pets and you'll be healing/buffing them aswell
If you want to gain exp fast after 40 I really suggest getting into a really good clan and level with them! There is always clans out there that love Prophets & there buffs and for that reason they will always be willing to party and help you level fast! IF you don't want a clan or you just prefer to level on your own I would suggest getting heavy armour & duals with foucs on them & possibly a pet is a good idea either a dragon or wolf to help level with, well you both act as melee's and attack the mobs Good luck Prophet can be a difficult class to level and get boring sometimes but if you stick with them they are almost always needed & as a Prophet myself I tried soloing but it got lonely and had a lot of downtime for mp regeneration, so I started going to catacombs with my clan and I've loved playering her ever since! Even if you don't have a clan you can always find people in that catacombs that are looking for a buffer/assiss Healer to party with! :) Good luck and have fun if you need any help or anything and on the Sieg Server just message me :)
Thnx but I am on bartz server :)
I kinda like the DE's cause of their natural evil look :)
I been high level healers and buffers in all games and love beeing that... also know they are kinda harder to level then rest...
Reason I dont like to level much with others is mostly that it tends to have to much downtime with waiting on members and they hafte go all the time before getting done and so on.
Also in other games I been either healer or summoning class or pet class of some other sort so I thought I would do a combo here even if it might be slower :)
Yeah but I been only healer or only summoner in other games so kinda time for a change so was thinking to try 2 in 1...
good idea tho and I will probly try out the summoner classes to at a later time as they tend to be fun.
Actually the Summoner here IS a healer/buffer - and a powerfull one at that - but only for his summon. On the other hand the level 52+ summons of Warlock and Elemental Summoner also have usefull buffs for the whole party (ES nuker oriented, Warlock Archer/melee oriented). Plus party Summon Cubic for kicks. So a summoner is kinda like 3 in one.
PS is a decent healer (night shade can heal for over 1k) w/ b2m and corpse life drain, plus hate. Party w/ WC is even better shade's heal is sacrifice.
