Well it looks to me like the only way to not get banned for speaking out is hitting out with their own words. I'd love to see how you could ban and delete something that is a direct quote from themselves.

You people chose to post the letter without revising it so it would not be moderated - and then of course, reposting it over and over again. I'm almost starting to think that you never intended to get listened to and just wanted to be heard.
Not really sure why you're referring to "you people" when I'm clearly a) not banned and b) have set about reminding them of their own company philosophy.

this repeated banning, deleting and blocking is doing anything but detering. It's making people more fed up and giving them more of a desire to do try and get something done.

Just another example: Bumping is against the rules, period - and doing it while the thread is still at the very top of the forum is only an invitation for a lock.
Enough of this for me: I thought the whole noise move was a good idea until I saw it executed the way it was. Sad, really, and I hope that none of your game accounts take the ban hammer.

Often times arguments can’t be won, so if you have a contrasting opinion, please state it simply and clearly. If necessary, agree to disagree with others who may have differing opinions. When discussions turn to long, hostile arguments, the thread will be closed or removed.

Do you even play this game? (game = lineage2, game doesnt = how many posts on official boards you can amass)
One problem with this. This is under all the korean stuff. There is infact a different link at the top about the NA NCsoft. Anything that isnt linked from there, really isnt about NCsoft NA. But Im sure in Korea they do listen there.
I have written nothing other than what you can see here. Please stay on topic within this thread -it is about NCSoft Company Philosophy and reflection upon one of the three core cultures.
**** the man, it's that simple. Get off your high horse, quite obviously your "methods" havent meant jack or joe so don't try to lecture us on what to do and what not to do. That letter has been read by several thousand players and when we speak, several thousand players read it, contrary to here on lineage2.com where forum messages reaches not even a tenth of that.

You're right it is under the Korean section, however it represents the global philosophy. Quite an interesting read actually - well worth looking over.

I believe the one thing they're neglecting with the community isn't listening to it, but talking to it.
PS: Heretik, yes, I play the actual game. And yes, the forums are part of the gaming experience for me.

No I haven't posted on anything else - this thread was my first usage of L2 Official Forums. But having come across this I think it needed bringing to the attention of both sides of the battlelines drawn out here today.

I revised my post, seems any mention of "farmer" and a red light goes off in the NC office - they slide down poles into the emergency ban chamber and get it removed within seconds.

If you read the quote it was in reference to "nowadays" middle of the 19th century rather out of context here. And with all this debating and posting you chose that to reply too?

Anyway, if you don't believe that there are plenty of posts on raid farmers/botting that don't get deleted or locked, I invite you to actually hang around these forums before judging them (because by that token, people also arrive at the conclusion that only botters ever post on blah, and I think we've had an impressive demonstration of this not being the case just now).
Feel free to use the search function - unless threads are cleaned up for censorship once they've slipped off the first few pages, not an awful lot of it was happening before this little debacle.
PS: I'm very curious where this quote war will go.
PPS: Splatter, they changed (a few weeks or now maybe months - I've no sense of time with this lack of holidays >.< ) the messages. I had a lot of slightly different texts before that, but nowadays it is a very fast copy and paste message that obviously often doesn't take the actual text of the message sent into account fully. :p
