See these are the reasons my girlfriend quit the game. I took over her account, but please avoid Starish at all cost. He/She is a scammer. These snapshots are unaltered and in BMP form (meaning they're about 3 megs each).
I mean I don't even have the balls to go asking people to "borrow stuff" let alone something along that line. Anyway I have more snapshots (Starish asking to borrow 1 million adena, to borrow this to borrow that, can you drop this I just want to test something) it goes on.
This particular player has just been doing it for awhile so I wanted to warn you all on this server.
Thank you for the fair warning, but cases like these have been going on since LII strated on open beta. It's up to the playres to not fall into traps of such sorts specially when they don't know the person talking to them.
In the same line as this scamm you have people making chars that resemble some very known player chars in looks and name and will go scamming newby players to test out their weapon or thier armor or even tell them they can 'upgrade' the gear they have. In doing so scamming the player (who most likely only hafly payed attention to the player asking the trade, barely remembring the name or if yes or no they are clan tagged or not) and giving the real player of the similar name/looks a bad reputation.
In general, if you also read the 'Who's scamming you' topic under this forum part, you will see that many tricks ahve been played upon fair players and that the main message is Be careful who you trade with, always check names ask questions as much as you can to see how real the deal is etc. Be alert and causious.
I'm trully sad that this misfortune made your GF leave the game. I do hope one day she will pick back up on her account and enjoy the game again as it's supposed to, for there are still very good and faire players and guilds out there.
Yeah, Musei quit. A few friends and Myself will be using the account from now on. So if you see Musei's character around at all, it's gonna be one of us now. She's already back on Warcraft playing on her Mac.
NOOO....! My character xTiffanyx raided with her for the first time yesterday we took down like 4 raid bosses together! and I loved it she was so much fun :( tell her to come back and I will completely help her out even if it's a new weapon new armour whatever (I'll pay) and I'll get her better stuff then what she had before! thats so sad I'm going to cry :(
My g/f said she would try to come back and play after a few months to give it another shot. The bad news about that statement is that she said the samething after playing Everquest and that was 3 years ago. Anyway! Stay Cool People!
awww... :( thats just sad tell her whenevewr she does decide to come back that my offer does stand and I would more then happy to help her get back on her feet :) just msg one of my chars below I'm more commonly on my Prophet heh :D
