Can you delete a character without the 7-day wait?

Like the title says, is there a way I can just delete a character instantly instead of waiting the seven days for it to disappear? I need an open slot and I never played my Orc Shaman-- she's a level 1. Be gone with you now I say! :D

Not at all.

Sucks, doesn't it?

While it does have some downsides, it's advantages definitely outweigh its disadvantages in my opinion.

The advantage being that it saves the impulsive from themselves?
...should they be saved at all?

Is that really an advantage?

I don't know. I mean, the rest of the world is filled with decisions that are easier made yet hold more consequence.

I really can't see the reason to protect people from wanting to to delete...

oh wait... nevermind. I deleted a guildwars factions character that I had transferred a lot of money and mats to, in a second before I even realized.

I stand corrected :o

The 7 days is also good if someone gets ahold of your account info. Without the wait they might not just take your gear, but delete your character as well.
