To level up to stage 10. Doom Guard (Confirmed). Doom Archer (Confirmed). Doom Knight (Confirmed).
I used leveling crystals as a way to make quick cash on the PTS. Guess where I was ? Best results for leveling are with the aggro ones (Doom Knight if I remember correctly).
They are all confirmed to lvl 10 tho.
WTS crystal level 10 !!! 4 million.

Well I think that things have changed cause the starting NPC 's for the Quest " Enhance your weapon " seem to have been removed from the game .
And when you ask any Adventurer Guild Member ,he says No NPC for that quest and point you to a spot northern DE Village ,which is empty .
At least that's what folks are reporting on Dev .
If these NPC's are so smart ,they could at least name one , or all three ,and not just say " None ", no starting NPC for that quest ,go home.
I hate when a NPC thinks he's smart,while he's not.
But good idea to add them to the guide for clarity.
As for starting NPC. Quests can only have 1 starting NPC normally, so for now the odd quests like Fishshots and enhance your weapon will have to have no starting NPC in the listing. :(
Knowing this stuff first hand, as I am basically doing the same job for Onlinewelten, instead of stratics, I can safely say, that it is a confirmation issue AND the tedious task of putting the lists in the database or checking it.
We got the SA's on our webpage too, btw, on the items list right away (hover your mouse on the crystal icon on the weapons page)
Since my german is very (VERY) bad, I'm not going to use onlinewelten - but are those pop ups really necessary? -That's like the worst thing to ever enter the internet.
Well, to be fair, I got to say, that the dreaded layer-advertisement is only appearing every 30 mins (per IP) and that you can klick it away easily, even before it is fully loaded.
To use the words of my boss: "Switching TV-channels takes longer :)"
I never click anything on pop-ups, in case it triggers some spyware downloads, or other nasty stuff. Especially when the [x] does not look like the standard windows [x] I have on my normal browser.
Well, from the computer science perspective I would just like to tel l you, that a standard windows [X] can host as much malicious code than any other object that you click on ;)
And I am bascially doing the same, but I am hitting reload (F5) the moment the ad blinks in. that reloads the whole page and also removes the ad. Since the add is loaded, before the whole content of the page is loaded, that does not even cause much bandwith.
What took so long, this info was available pre c4... is it lack of volunteers to post it or just a confirmation issue... just wondering not complaing.

Leveling these was extremely tedious and dangerous. You have to have an appropriate character (because you can't level a crystal on dark blue mobs) so we went into Devil's Isle, Garden of Eva and Giant's Lair with characters at or below that level.
All these areas have group mobs, which as I'm sure you know, can be very dangerous, especially if you don't have a party of more than three.
LC was painstaking in making sure the information was accurate. It was a great testimony to his commitment to Stratics and the fanbase that he wouldn't move on until he had absolute confirmation of accuracy.

I am not quite sure what you're getting at here, stratics had both a Crystal guide and an SA list in C3 with C2/C3 information.

It was an issue with the old way of doing SA's were not good and many SA's only had general descriptions, not precise ones. It was also a very tedious manual task. So we designed a new way of doing the system and our DB guy fixed something together so it can now be a precise and automated process.
The guide was mostly getting characters at the right level, confirmations (which is harder to do in C4), confirming the monsters that has never been confirmed anywhere before, rewriting, adding and finding out stage 13 crystal and new mobs info.

Good find on a flaw in the automated process. Seems like some weapons now with C4 do not follow the previous SA way of listing. Just like the C4 dual doesn't follow the Pre-C4 way of description.
I have no idea why the Hell Knife got down as a stage 10 crystal, its crystal cost clearly shows it as stage 9. I'll fix that immediatly.
there used to be a time when finding good info on L2 was difficult. now stratics, the german fansite(obwohl mein deutsche ist nicht so gut) & the official site have a lot of useful stuff. thanks!
LC, I just visited the site and found a small mistake. In the Armor Sets section, you state that a-grade amor can't be resealed. This is not the case anymore. A-grade boots/gloves/helms CAN be resealed, and then unsealed to a different type.
Yeah, that section is old. Due to some policies I can't currently change content with any frequency, so less happens there than should. That should hopefully be changed in the near future *crosses fingers*
We updated it to S-grade armors, but the old information wasn't changed, so it incorrectly still states you can't reseal them :( Thanks for looking over the site and feel free to make suggestions of other things you'd like to see.
A question, I haven't been at the blacksmith of mammon in a long time, but is it possible to reseal S-grade?
I participated in multiple raids on the Ant Queen (using level 40ish alts) and we were never able to level crystals. There is no system message about it failing to absorb a soul, so we concluded that it just isn't possible.
I have no idea if Core or Orfen can level crystals.
However, killing Baium can level crystals to 11 or 12 just like Anakim, Lilith, etc.
