Well, I've seen about two crystal posts today, and was wondering if you can make serious money leveling them up? I'm aobut to hit B grade, aand I'm quite a few mill short >.>
If you can make a lot of money off of them...How do you do it easily/effectivley... Please gimme a crash course! Thanks!
You put the crystal on a hot-key, then find one of the monsters that can level the cyrstal. They are listed on the Stratics guide page in my last post.
Make sure the mob is not dark blue, then start to kill it. When its health is under 50%, click the hot-key to 'use' the crystal. You will see some animation like you are throwing water on the mob. You need to hit the 'Attack' hot key again as you will not auto-attack after using the crystal.
The mobs dies, and one of several things occurs: nothing (the usual result,) the crystal breaks, the crystal refuses to absorb a soul (means your mob is too low,) or the crystal absorbs a soul. If it does, the old crystal disappears and you 'earn' a new one, one 'stage' higher.
You need to drag this new crystal to the hot key to start the process over again to get the next level..
Cyrstal of stage five and above can be sold, as they need to be at least that level to enhance a weapon. Prices vary, so check shops on your server before trying to sell one.
Ok, but main questions are: Can you make a good bit of money? and Is it easy? and I've looked at the mobs,they would all be dark blue for me at level 2 enhancement, can I attack other mobs for it?
Let's say you wanted to take a crystal to lvl 7. You can level it from lvl 0 all the way to lvl 7 on the mobs listed for lvl7. You can also level it up to level 7 from mobs that can take it up to lvl 9. You just stop when you get it where you want it.
Thanks! Now, on the stratics site, it says something about dropping a lot of them because you can only do 1 at a time, and one more question: After you use the crystal, do you kill the monster with it? o.O
BTW what are some of the prices per level? {BARTZ} is it varies per server >.>

You kill the monster with your weapon like normal. The crystal needs the be used before you kill it to absorb the soul of the monster. You need to drop or trade them off to another character because you can only have one Crystal in your inventory to level it up.
Don't know about prices, it really depends on lots of variables i'm not familiar with. The NPC who gives you the quest gives you the Crystals for free.
If your with a buffer/healer you can have them hold a large reserve of crystals so you dont have to run back to town for new ones and also so no one will walk away with the ones you were working in.

ONLY if you don't already have one in your possession. Get one, give to your friend or toss it on the floor, ask for another, repeat. Get a good supply on the floor, pick them up and take off! Oh and be prepared to get extremely frustrated.
Do you have any clue to how much my frustration might get me? I need about 10m to upgrade to B, if this isn't a good way, what is to make some quick cash?

level about 7-8 red crystals to level 7 , sell them 1.2m each and youll earn your 10m.

Your luck may vary but I've gone for over an hour with the crystal not leveling and then finally breaking. I have had some level successfully 3 times in a row. Like I said, it's frustrating.
is there a more effective thing to make money? I've always just sold what the monsters drop...but I fear, that even with me selling C first, I will not be able to buy B grade gear ><

I believe you choose which color you want at the NPC that gives it to you. No they do not change colors. If you request a Red one from the NPC that is what you will get.
