HEHE We were really lucky, on Teon we were 3 alliances waiting at the traders in DV (we were going for antharas) then suddenly tons of mobs spawned including many toi mobs? and a Giant tiger looking raidboss who dropped around 90 L2 day scrolls, 6 soul crystals lvl7/8 and a bunch of enchants armor/weapon C.

Right now, folks are still trying to figure out this event. It is not clear solo folks even want to find these mobs. Getting killed by a high level event mob is not good.
The mobs seen so far seem very high level, social, with high level raid bosses among them. The best party to attack them would seem to be one configured to kill high-level raid-bosses. It is a curious selection, as those parties seem to be not well-liked on most servers, for reasons I won't go into here.
But thank you for sharing your location info; many folks tend to keep this info secret.
nya? i think this is most helpful info i ever got about the event thingy... seriously.. i'm not kidding...
also, if you low lv, there should be event mobs spawn somewhere around the the evil looting area just um... NE of Gludio.. i think... was there hunting for threads last night and saw tons of odd mobs... like windsus, sala, hangman tree, giant fungus.. etc... got about um... 12 l2day scrolls... but haven't seen anymore since... >_< cuz it was late and i was so sleepy... ^.^;;

yeah.. i can see what you mean though. one of my allies shouted in ally chat that there's event mobs in plains of lizardmen, then next thing i know.. he said some high lv ppl dropped him... wow... scary...
but it was fun, my first time having a lil luck seeing the event mobs lol... and it's only me and one clanny... not that bad...
hmmm drops seem consistent. In around 25 hours no matter what the group of mobs it seems to always have
2 brez
4 bsoe
2 qhp
4 of every scroll
ewd
ead
we will see if this changes as it progresses. Also, I am sorry but I am not sharing my known spawn locations cuz I dont want ppl to take them from me :(
ROFL this event sucks and is a blast at the same time. I hate those exploding and multiplying mobs from the forge. Everytime we kill one of these we scatter like rats in a sinking ship just before the last hit. I think we killed close to 200 event mobs today. Phew!
Oh yeah, ty for those Valakas family mobs, L O L :mad:.
edit: oh yeah, even the raid farmers left the Valakas family mobs alone. I think we're looking at the C5 raid bosses being tested live.
i've stumbled on 3 spawns for event mobs...took 2 of the groups of mobs out myself--green and white to me (but couldn't take the rb). Clan took the ones outside of giran.
I've gotten multiple ead's, an eac, blessed rez's, and probably 8 scrolls so far.
Since i never saw a bunny in the last event i'm calling this even!
I have been playing 5 toons on and off in multiple areas lately....kinda bored....maybe that's why I keep running into them.
Talking island (between village and oblisk), orc village near frozen waterfall (boss is still there on lionna--couldn't kill him alone and no one answered my shouts for a group in dion, gludin, OR gludio), last night south of giran (those were all red to me).

can someone tell me why they drop ew D and ea A's from level 80 mobs?
Those had to the most pointless enchants in the world i just throw them on the ground or sell them to the shop it dont even cover the SS i used to kill the **** friggen mobs.
90% of the servers are at least 40+ why you giving us Dgrade crap?
Why dont u drop something useful like armour and weapon a /b reciepes who cares about the **** enchants at this point.

Depends on what they're worth to you! EWD go for 500k on Lionna, and EAD for 100k easily.. wonder who the hell buys them Oo ++++adena!
Like I said in the other post. I think this event is just something they (NcSoft NA) threw together in short notice. Just something to fill the gap between may and July. We have had some kind of event every month so far this year. Well some stuff I wouldn't call events but there has been something out of the norm every month. But it definatley doesn't make sense to make mobs harder to kill but drop less event loot. Heck most of the event mobs don't drop anything.
We just have to see what they plan on doing for Independance day. As long af they uninstall the nerf **** I will be happy.
