I was hoping to find out what happened? Did Blaze declare war for the hell of it or did something happen for them to declare war on the Equalizers & other clans? If anyone knows anything could you post it here! Thanks :D
Swords High Tiffy & Orvieta!
This thread will likely get locked or moved to Sieghardt board, so I'll try to get this in before the mod.
L2 is a PvP game so even we polite players sometimes have to do battle. I answered a similar post on our forums in the ARKTIC Open board for those who wonder why we would be at war.
For the record, at this time we are not at war with all of FUBU, only those clans who declared on us first: NFI & Blaze. We also declared against Braveheart who apparently want to fight us, but won't declare back. Fine tactic to bait us to gain pks and drop gear, but hey... we all have our sineaters going. :p

Good fight to NFI & Blaze!
Welcome to the fight ;)
just a word of advice .. when warring one clan you might as well war the allaince, all allainces hunt together unless your prepared for 4% losses .. blaze will attack you and their non war'd friends will assist and fight you once you flag to defend your self.
"The Punishers" look like they can handle themselves intrested to see what happens,
Thats good advice for me as well shortly after I joined my new clan who I was allied with before my old clan disbanded I realized they were at war as well so I guess I'm going to have to ask them if they declared war on ally's as well? :D
Sound advice. But not fitting our battle plan at this stage. Plus, we've had no beef with Unity to this point and some of their people are really cool. We won't initiate enmity with them.
We're dealing with NFI and Blaze here. They didn't start the war to settle a dispute and go back to peace (We haven't given anyone a bone to pick with us).
LOl I had to ask if there was any peace? I was just curious on an update aout the war going on since I'm not in any of those clans! Do you keep regular updates for people who are guests on your web site?
Not really a war journal & I don't want to see pictures of people getting killed but an update on maybe someone backing out of the war or if things are escalating or anything like that?!?
I see. Well in L2 there aren't really many options. You war, they war, you undeclare, they undeclare that's it.
They won't stop the war and as long as someone is declaring against us, we'll stay declared back. There really isn't an escalation process, no battle is significant since losses are only temporary, so it's nothing we'd really be able to update anyone on.
Kind of boring with the exception of being in the pvp itself.
LOl true my clan is at war and I don't even know why?!? But I was just wondering of the progress maybe with talking to the other clans leaders, or trying to resolve the issue for the reason why the war started in the first place! Majority of wars usually start because one clan does something to piss theo ther one off or the one clan doesn't like something about the other clan..so on... So I was just looking to see if anything like that has happened! But I realize that even if it has I don't think you will mention it cuz thats something left within the clan so I guess I'll get no details heh *OH WELL* thanks anyways :D
In the reply I made at my own site regarding how this came to pass, I mentioned that. Otherwise, I don't expect there will be any updates worth mentioning.
Good luck with your war. You're never going to get the farmers to declare mutual war except when it's convenient for them, but good for you for fighting back.

Thay are not in war with OndBey and we are all farmers in some way.
Braveheart works with Ondbey, they are all the same, as are you for supporting the farmers who are best poised to steal control of end-game content from real players.
If you want this server to end up like Gustin or whichever other server it is where farmers monopolize even the Olympiad, keep on supporting allies like OndBlaze who legitimize and aid the high-end farmers because they are too insecure and poorly organized to do their own raiding and large-scale pvp.
Is this person for real? I just don't understand how someone can be in an ally with an entire farmer clan and claim not to support them. FuBu can't even kill Antharas without their full force of farmers, and I doubt that Spoon here protests their involvement; if he does, he probably doesn't do so very loudly.
Spoon, I'm sorry if this is a newsflash to you, but your alliance can't coordinate or organize for crap, which is why they decided to hide behind farmers and thus avoid all of the mess of conducting their own raids and related mass PvP. Can't get enough of your members to turn off their bot programs or /leave their catacomb leeching parties? Have farmers do your raiding for you!
Seriously, while virtually no alliance is "clean", how lazy do you have to be to require farmers to do even your PvE (i.e. raid bosses) for you? If FuBu had any backbone or collective pride, they'd have gone against the farmers to try to keep server politics among players, as they should be. Too bad they caved.
Im sorry Contagion i dont know who you are but it seams that you do know what every1 in FuBu does and does not do ingame. We do alot of raids without the help of the "farmers" and it works so. I do talk to my leader in Unity1 about the OndBey part and i said what i was thinking about that so he know where i stand in that point. I do not party do raids with any1 that use 3rd party programs, if i do find out that someone in the party uses it i just leave the grp and go to dion and buff new players. If you say that i suport the farmers cuz we have them in the ally then it has to be true i guess but i do not buy my gear from some misk site or adena i do work for it. I /gm every1 that uses 3rd party stuff even my own allys and im not allone in unity1 that does that.

Flame on.
My question still stands:
Why do you stay in an alliance or clan that uses 3rd party software, although you claim you don't support or even hate it?
Look, my position is this: I still feel that Unity has good members and frankly is too good to be in FUBU. They may have a stand against Catalyst, SOA, or some other enemies that FUBU also has, so perhaps this reason alone is what initiated the alliance with them.
However, the fact is that Unity has joined an alliance of people that have 0 honor and cannot compete without the need for out-of-game assistance.
I am sure there are members of Unity who would rather not have that farmer (or other) label over their head... but they do because they have willfully joined and supported that cause. Everytime they do a joint raid, joint pvp, joint siege or xp party with the other elements of their alliance they further the goals of the rest of that alliance, and we all know who and what they are.
People like Cym are stuck in the middle having friends in their clan and having loyalty. I feel for him, Dush and others... but I won't excuse them. If you decide to be a lookout while your new friends commit a robbery, it doesn't matter that you didn't actually demand or even touch the money.
There are Clean alliances on the server. They haven't become powerhouses and don't have much notoriety for 2 reasons.
1) they weed out the people who need to cheat to win and these people are often the loudest mouths on the server
2) we get rolled more often than not when we come into conflict with the aforementioned entities. But hey we can only see enemies in line of sight as the unaltered game allows us to. We have to go grind our own xp when we die, and for most of us that is only a few hours a day/week as work and family allow.
But we have the integrity not to cheat to win... or to join an alliance of people who do. So not many people know that alliances like ours even exist. And not many people are willing to swallow their ego and take the hard path when so many others around them take the easy road.
There are not many "legit" if any clans/players on the server its got to a point where is was so socialably acceptable, for me its not the issue ,but i find it hard trying to understand the motivation to ally with farmers full stop, they asked to join SoA an i was like" oh hell no",
i often speak to my friends in unity i raise the point every once in a while but never geta definative answer.
Very hard when your friends with other clan members to convince them that farming & botting is wrong. It's even harder to tell them the clan they are in does these two things. So I completely understand where your coming from, but I still don't except the fact that you support a clan that does either of these two things. I'm not sure if my clan does any of that, but if I ever found out or was told they did, I would question it & find out the truth first and then leave the clan if it was true. As you said majority of clans/allies do. Not all of them are open about it & thats the reason why most of the clans are still around. If members of that clan were to find out the clan they are with or allied with participated in farming, do you think people would leave?
I thougt my anser or how its spelled was clear. Im loyal to my clan thats Unity1, the rest of the ally is not so important to me. We do not use any 3rp party programs in Unity1, well we hade one tho he/she was afk xping in SoS so i used my mighty crystal staff and pked both the toons and then he/she got kicked and /gmd. Cheaters should be banned for life, I dont care if thay are my allies or not.
Hope that this will clear your mind Orvieta.
Dont want to point any fingers here but when the event was on Equalizers did do a raid with us so that will make them farmer lovers like me then or is that just somting ells? ;) I did tank the boss that time 2shoted me tho so i now know that i suck as a tank...

While I appreciate an attempt at propaganda as much as the next guy, I value intellectual honesty much more so.
I am sure that at no time during the raids did THE EQUALIZERS join FUBU in taking down a raid boss.
Is it possible that you were part of a pick-up raid where an Equalizer member was also a part? I wouldn't be at all surprised. We are a generally friendly and courteous group of people.
That is altogether different than allying with the farmers and youknowwhos. You accept it, you maintain it, you own it.
Again, that's cool. Your choice. Just don't try to deny it.

Oh my, did I just read this line correctly from someone in the FuBu alliance? The rest of this post ought to be good.
(Btw, I'm Contagion of Catalyst, nice to meet you. I'm also in a much better position to know about FuBu than you are, having spent a great deal of time allied to or even in clan with some of them in the past, and I can tell you based on personal observation that they haven't changed much if at all since Darkstorm and Renegade.)
I do talk to my leader in Unity1 about the OndBey part and i said what i was thinking about that so he know where i stand in that point. I get the sad feeling that you actually believe what you are typing. "Sad" because you must be incredibly naive or not willing to look very hard, because evidence of your ally's use of 3rd party programs and Chinese farmers is all over the place.
Now, I honestly don't care that some of them play the game this way; I'm actually pretty liberal, though I don't do these things, myself. The problem is how far many of your people depend on these things to even play the game; I doubt we see more people in any alliance in farmer groups and afk botting than we see in FuBu. Without 3rd party programs and farmers, your alliance wouldn't get anything done, much less exist.
You need to pull your head out of the sand and take a look around yourself. It's disappointing that you even consented to join an ally you obviously know nothing about. Either your clan doesn't bother to keep you in the loop or you just didn't care or play enough to get the real scoop on what was going on.
I've heard it said of Unity before that they were among the most hardline opponents of 3rd party apps and leveling services. I'm sorry to inform you, but said reputation has been thoroughly shot to hell since you allied with the most infamous and unapologetic botter/farmer clans on the server.
To be honest i dont think any1 in catalyst should say anything about 3rd party stuff to others, I know that my clan is clean the ally is somthing ells tho. If you dont like the ppl that cheat dont be in catalyst then cuz your members need it asmuch as some of the members in my ally, im sorry for that.
Contagion cheaters are ******s and it seams there are alot of them on sieg cuz there are cheaters in cata fubu soa and bla bla bla bla, dont point at FuBu and cry CHEATER all the time dude. You have accepted cheats in your ally and think thats cool, i dont think thats cool so i dont play with them and i say that too so i do try change ppl minds even if it does not work i dont give up.
Maby we 2 should start a new clan?
Don't presume to put words in my mouth. I was very specific in my post regarding "cheats" and my standing on them, so I suggest that you reread it. I only commented on it at all because you made it an issue by trying to distinguish yourself and your clan from the rest of your alliance.
In any case, if you do recognize that the rest of your ally is a "different story" when it comes to cheating, you had better get busy reporting, because you have days' worth of petitions to fill out.

Like Ihave said over and over again i do petitions on the ones i know use 3rd party stuff every day if thay are online, if thay are in my ally or not does not matter to me cuz thay are cheaters. This is what i think about things im not speaking for the rest of Unity1 dont forget that. If you can draw every1 over the edg cuz some in my ally are bad then im the badest i guess.
Side not Contagion are you in tempezt or mxg? Tempezt avatar the lightning thingy is realy cool.

Think unity had like 15 or 16 members there and i think blaze hade 2 or 3 maby and your clan/ally where atleast a fullgrp so yea, your members had a chanche to kill a boss and maby loot some good gear nothing wrong with that.
Did i tell say that i did tank the boss?
And the deny part I dont deny crap, I say what i think you say im wrong and the story never ends till:
1: I quit the game and you will say: HA farmer down you suck.
2: OndBey gets kicked from the ally and you say: HA thay cant keep the farmers lol you suck.
3: I tanked the boss damit.

I would ask for a screenshot of that. Chances are if any ARKTIC worked a raid with FUBU it would have been Punisher who left the alliance soon after {=} returned the war to NFI and Blaze.
But by all means, share a screenshot of that action.
Cym, I realize you don't know me nor our clan very well. We don't gloat in the failings of others. If you quit, we'd miss another decent player on the server. If Ondbey got kicked (and FUBU wasn't still in bed with them) we'd consider it a positive move for your alliance (even if a little too little, a little too late).
I usually don't post but feel a need to post....correct me anywhere if I am wrong
In defense of Blaze, I am not nor have ever been in Blaze, but am somewhat privy to the offer they were given by Ondbey.
Basically Ondbey had been restricted for a long while to a certain level of rb's as well as were in competition with Braveheart, then as they progressed moved up to the higher bosses that they camp day/night these days.
Our great friends Catalyst/MXG didn't like this very much, y..cuz they had a pretty good grip on them RB's and it really helped their zerg get gear and sa crystals/loot like no other could.
At that time, there was a few sides to the seighardt map, many sharing a dislike for the big bad mxg alliance.
Meanwhile MXG pretty much went after Ondbey and disrupted their daily operations as much as possible. It was at that point that Loveliu (could be wrong person) and his "officers" basically sent out emissaries to the allies not so friendly with MXG to be an armed guard for them in exchange for involvement with Raids.
The split of loot is determined between clan leaders but essentially the idea was to get an alliance to be the 'hired guns' to protect Ondbey while farming RB's.
Most allies scoffed at the idea..some others seeing the advantage of getting SA crystals and loot figured..hey, this helps us at least maybe get the gear to match MXG.
I don't know honestly how that has played out for FUBU, but essentially I think that was the driving force behind FUBU. Also I think Blaze/NFi had issues with not having enough active ppl on for anything else other than pvp so thus even better for them to have numbers on raids
The way I see it, FUBU took up the offer as the best way to gear themselves up- maybe sacrificing some prinicples for another but still understandeable imo

Not that your insight isn't interesting or appreciated, but there are a few points I would discuss.
1. You make it sound as if Tempest and MXG held an iron, farmer-like monopoly on major raid bosses, which is untrue. The main reason why we've had great success with raids is because we are organized and not lazy, not because we stand around GKs all day and run spies at every major raid boss. FuBu has had the tools to contend with Catalyst and their other enemies, but rather than try to get their fractious and selfish members to actually work for something, they sucked up to OndBey. Look at other major alliances like SoA and Redemption and HV - they didn't invite raid boss farmers to ally and do their work for them, and they are arguably weaker in levels, equipment, and in some cases PvP experience than FuBu.
2. Perhaps what they've done is understandable given the members they have to work with, but not excusable by any means. A case can be made that small-time farmers fill a needed niche by farming certain items in much larger quantities than real players can (though you can also argue that they jack up the manor), but high-end farmers should be categorically opposed by real players. This just shows that FuBu = Farmer, and they took the easy way out rather than choosing to compete with other players for raid bosses; they'd rather get gear by any means necessary even if it means turning the server into FarmerLand, where even the Olympiad is run by farmers (isn't it Gustin where this is already happening?).
3. As for the claim that they don't have enough actives, I really don't believe that is true (if they don't, it's their own fault for having a large % of their membership only logging on to PvP with farmer toons or to bot/leech). With Unity they certainly do have enough for their own raids; it's just that they don't want to do them. I'm a little surprised that OndBey gives them anything since I rarely see the rest of FuBu helping them. Even at Baium you may see a large number of FuBu going up, but by the time the boss spawns, it's less than a handful of "players" and the rest farmers. Pathetic considering that their zerg is comparable to ours (believe it or not, we have a max of 50-60 characters logged in at one time even for major events like sieges and Antharas raids).
Yesterday in Dion (I could be wrong) but I think I saw a Onbey member & they aren't part of the FUBU alliance anymore? Anyway know or can confirm that? When I clicked to check that out it said Onbey with there symbol & then "no alliance" shaded in grey. I'm not sure so I was hoping someone could tell me if this is true?

That would be the first step of FUBU to Dignity...
Let's see how this shakes out. Braveheart wasn't in FUBU yet when PvPing NFI at Blazing Swamp it was 2 groups of Braveheart nukers that saved the day for FUBU.
Having Ondbey out of FUBU is a good start (as good a start as a serial killer deciding to stop killing people) but we'll see if they continue to work together outside of the alliance.
Thats very true. I feel that Onbey being out of that alliance is just some kind of trick, but who knows. Maybe they have gotten tired of al the comments about them, As well as all the stuff people have had to put up with!
I haven't logged in yet today, but my guess is that you probably saw an OndBey2 farmer, and they aren't in the alliance.
If/when OndBey drops FuBu, it will probably have been because of FuBu's failure to help their business. If I were a farmer, I wouldn't pay those guys crap; all they do is want shares from raids while most of them don't even bother to show up for major raids or to PvP when OndBey is getting messed with.
Sorry dude I have been away for 3days on a seminarium on theater light (duno if thats cald that in english the seminarium) for my work.
I do not have a sh on that raid, I almost never take sh cuz im to lazy to press the sh button, well somtimes i do it but thats if i find somting funny or a bug. Its not that hard for you to find out if there where allys of yours at the raid just ask in the allychat, Im bad with names cuz my memory suck, just ask the members in my clan :) so i cant help you with that. What i rememberd was that there where maby 2-4 nukers there one SH with a homunkulus i think (not sure like i said my memory suck somtimes) and thay hade no buffer so i hade to buff every1 like allways... Think one was a dwarf in the red armor thingy tho... I can ask ppl in my clan if thay have a sh tho.
Did ondbey leave? Didnt know that, hope its true.
Recruit more prophets every1 pls :)
Cya in game and have a nice weekend I know i will, last day at work befor the summer break
Looks like OndBey has in fact left FuBu. Probably got tired of FuBu leeching their stuff, but I really don't know the why or how of it. Interesting.
Edit: Apparently there really isn't a FuBu at all atm. Dunno what they're up to or care very much. My guess is that they'll reorganize and be more or less the same, but I wonder how long it will take Unity to get totally fed up with the rampant botting and courting of farmers.
LOL I agree, recuit more Prophets. I just realized that your a prophet & so am I, as well as your in Unity1 & my clan is at war with yours LOL hmm... interesting fight! Even thou I think your higher then me so I don't know how I would last... :o
We are at war? **** didnt know that, like always im last to get the info on stuff like that :) I will still be in Dion saturday night buffing lowbies if you want to chat and stuff.
Cya ingame.
PS: Didnt think this thread would last for this long  DS.
FYI, as suspected in a spectacular display of gatehopping at Oren, Blaze needed Ondbey to pvp for them. Ondbey may not be "official" allies but they are just as inseparable as ever.

So nothing changes as we already expected before...
LMAO your exactly right nothing did change. If any one watched the Oren castle Siege, (my alliance defended it) IT WAS AWESOME & very crazy. We had Blaze, Unity1, Warhawks, Cataslyt, Onbey, Equalizers. I believe all we were missing was Redemption & MXG LMAO. Even if half these clans weren't fighting for the castle, they were there pvping eachother. Yes, it is true Onbey is still in alliance with blaze just not an official alliance, which doesn't matter they are still around. (Like Freakin Leeches)

MxG is in Catalyst ally or did i miss somting again?
Was it a good siege? I missed that on 2...

Hello Contagion,
Thanks for the reply, much appreciated.
Mxg/Catalayst may or may not have had an "monopoly" on high lvl raids before the high-lvl farmers. However, the tactics that used in the past and maybe still continue to use make me think they did try to...
correct me if I am wrong Contagion, MXG has posted many spies at many different different port spots, many rb locations, and has spies within various clans/alliances. I've spoken within at least one in my L2 lifetime to confirm that. example, when a big opposing zerg massed for raid parties I always found it interesting that within 5-10 minutes an MXG zerg showed up....(happened moreso in the past)
Another example, you've had high lvl nukers/archers camping quest spots to gank any opposition in range.
Another example, you've had ppl de-tagging to xp...
One might say this is part of the game, one might say these kind of tactics are fair game.
Well, imo, fair tactics or not, if its something that can be exploited it will be
Fubu is just taking a dimension of this game and exploiting it
Yes I believe MXG & Catalysts are ally's but we were still missing them LOL. Blaze, Unity1, Warhawks & Onbey (1 alliance FBU) were out there, Equalizers out there, Catalyst (by themselves no MXG) So no I said it right, basically most of the big clans & allies were out there except the rest of MXG. It was an awesome siege we defended & kept our castle, more people came out to pvp eachother, & catalyst knocked down our front gate, even thou they were sieging us LOL. It was just a big gank party  *EVERYONE WAS INVITED* hehe I loved it! You should of been there, us Prophets could of just chilled ;)
Catalyst is Tempezt+MXG, to say Catalyst was there without MXG... well you'de be better served saying Tempezt was out there. :D
All we did was engage 2 blaze people in pvp at north gate of Oren. They used a great strategy, got help from Ondbey and gatehopped... a style of PvP we don't engage in and aren't going to indulge others in against us from this point on.
Pointless to fight against that tactic and beneath us to do it ourselves.
But I digress. To say we were involved in the siege would not be correct.

Of course we have had spies at various raid bosses, namely the quest ones. Logging characters out at important bosses wouldn't have been a necessity without the farmers, who post spies at almost EVERY raid boss, including the most important ones. Considering that the farmers are usually ready to go at a moment's notice, you'd better have some sort of "intelligence network" if you want a shot at beating them to the punch.
As for people de-tagging to xp, this has occurred before and is usually frowned upon, though there is at this time no official rule against it. Unfortunately, people who try to point fingers back at Catalyst members tend to forget the importance of degrees...for example, if you compare the play practices of our alliance to those of what used to be FuBu, I'm positive that you'll find much more widespread detagging/leeching and use of exploits on their end. The average Catalyst member wouldn't know what to do with a 3rd party app if you gave him/her one.
And then we have the real kicker: getting raid boss farmers to play for you. I'm sorry that you don't seem to appreciate the extent of this problem, because you surely will if you ever find yourself in conflict with their interests, as most of the server is. As for FuBu people, I suppose they couldn't care less, as many of them will probably soon go inactive and buy plvling in preparation for C5 (hint: this is what happened at the end of C3, particularly with Blaze).
They don't care if they help to strengthen the farmers' position and continue to hedge out real players as long as they get something out of it. Sure, they'll cry plenty when the farmers reach such a level of self-sufficiency that they don't need FuBu even for Antharas (it's not like FuBu protects them or participates much in other raids except sometimes at Baium) and cut them loose, but by then it will be a bit too late.
The best thing to hope for is that C5 raid bosses are difficult enough that the rewards of killing them don't compensate for the expense of the additional accounts that the farmers have to buy in order to keep going.

Yea gatehopping sucks, ppl even do that at the arena :)
Duno what you do at a siege tiffy but all i have to do is buff run in die port back buff every1 again run in and then i die and so on :)
LOL I kinda do the same thing at a siege.. I actually wait inside by the gates, then buff everyone going out.. Once they die again I rebuff them and send them on out again! I try not to die cuz it's worthless... My prophet can't really help kill anyone & if they go out there they are just going to die without putting up a fight.. If I stay alive, then I can just keep buffing & regenerating everyone around me :)
and you wounder how catalyst got all those 78's and nice new shiny Sg gear so fast... well i know i do... lol the fact that i have 14-15 friends in the actual MXG clan and some in Tempezt i might know how they got 78 so fast and all that new shiny Sg gear... but i dont think ill say anything more then most the people on this server already know   ;)
