The other day me and my friend were talking about the new chronicle coming out this year and since this is our first time experiencing a new chroncile launch (we both started playing when C4 just started) we were wondering if the servers stay up while the PTS is going on for the new chronicle. So if anybody could help us out here that would be great.
All of the normal servers stay up when a new Chronicle is placed on the Public Test Server. (The PTS is always running and it does not affect the normal servers.)
thxs for the info we were just wondering if we can keep lvling while everyone else is playing the PTS lol. So is it true that the rates for the PTS are alot higher then the normal servers rates?
On C4 PTS the mobs were giving 10 timesmore xp and drops.
Also there were busts when evryone just goten free xp adena and different stuff.
Personaly I whent to pts to try out some of new content, some different classes and test out different equipment set ups for my main class on live servers.
So, my advise here dont skip the PTS completly.
I will not skip it completly i to think it is a great place to try out different setups and different classes. My friend and i just need this cleared up because our clan has set dates for the members to reach certain lvl goals so we just wanted to know if we can still lvl while the PTS is going on. Not that anybody knows when the PTS is going to even be up so i won't worry to much about it. Just wanted to know a little more about it. Since I was also really new for C4, I have an additional noob question.....
Do those who play on the PTS get to keep that stuff on the main servers? Does accumulated wealth and exp transfer from PTS to the main server once the promotion is done?
I wouldn't think so and guess that PTS is like another, separate world server but I don't know for sure.

It's like one giant party. Complete madness. One of the few times that the game feels like it was just launched and everyone is doing everything everywhere.
