You can silence some of the people some of the time but not all of us all of the time. THis post will be sent to many other places..deleting it will not do you much good.

Ok, it appears that Raid Boss Farmers (RBF) are here to stay either because NcSoft sees no issue with them or they are incapable/unwilling to take action. With this in mind lets list the facts as we know them (heck maybe they need help in identifying the player known issues so they can take it up the Management ladder for action ) <----hahahahah yeah riiight!
Fact:
RBF's exist solely to farm high level RB's for hard to get items and adena all of which are intended to be sold for RL money and are not used for the in-game game goals.
Fact:
RBF do not care about obtaining more XP (or the loss of XP should they die or be killed by the RB or by other players). They do however care deeply about losing "items" that they then would have to replace to allow them to continue farming raid bosses. This eats into their "bottom" line.
Fact:
98% of RBF's characters were NOT leveled by normal (legal) means. Most, if not all, were artificially leveled with the use of a 3rd party program in farmer bot groups.
Fact:
Raid Boss Farming is NOT, strictly speaking, against anything in the EULA. However, Raid Boss Farming (indeed any kind of farming) is illegal when those items/adena is then sold for RL money or farmed by using a 3rd party program. The use of 3rd party programs of any kind are strictly prohibited by the ELUA as is selling in game items for RL dollars.
Given the above facts it is clear that RBF and 3rd party users are prevalent and effecting the stated object and promise of the game developers. In addition the promise of having high-end content for those high level players is now broken due to the following:
1. Raid Bosses are killed within a few minutes (15-30 minutes) after they spawn. Some of these "bosses" are required for high level players to further their characters career (i.e.: the level 75 Subclass quest). Many players cannot complete this quest in a reasonable amount of time (or at all) because the mobs required are killed before the player can get to the specific place or they are PK'd by the RBF's in fear that they will disrupt the raid and cost the RBF items and/or Adena.
2. Since most high level RB's are the only source of many hard to get or unique drop only items and since they are controlled by what amounts to a very small community, with goals NOT consistent with the game or it's progression, it creates several server wide problems.
a. It is in the best interest of RBF's to artificially inflate prices maximize the profit (and in turn sell that adena to other players) 125 million helmets, 300 million Drac bows, etc..
b. Since prices are set so artificially high it drives a trickle down effect on the rest of the economy. And while the "player" driven part of the economy is wholly separate from this it is 100% affected. For example: When high end items are unable to be bought (or farmed) many players will start crafting items (not for profit). Which in turn drives the prices of Level 1 mats up. Which then benefits the farmers who utilize the Manor system to farm these items (usually using a 3rd party program to do so). It is a fact that many times the RBF's are the Manor farmers waiting for the next RB to spawn.
c. All this drives an abnormal inflation independent of "normal" players actions. Bottom line is this: we "normal" players are at the mercy of the Mannor/Botting/RBF's and their domination of the L2 economy.
All this is verifiable and 90-95% accurate. We legit players who play this game for fun are being driven out by those who cheat, steal and use every exploit to make real life money in complete violation of the ELUA and what I think is the spirit of the game itself.
The only other course of action is to quit L2 and I've seen that this is the answer many of our fellow players are doing it's really sad. I know of more then 20 who now have left the game.
So, NcSoft what is the deal? When can we higher level players, your best legit customers, expect a answer to this and other pressing questions? We need MORE visibility in regards to your actions and intentions. Saying you've banned "X" amount accounts rings hollow when issues like this go unresolved. The same groups are still there .doing what they've always been doing. It looks like there has been no action whatsoever. I believe you when you say you done what you said you did..but that was only the tip of the iceberg.
It is my belief that this is a management issue within your company. Failure to enforce a level playing field is a management decision either in a behind the scenes policy or through incompetent, untrained or unskilled employees. Either this or that the policy & procedures you are required to follow are so burdunsome that it's almost impossible to react in a timely mannor.
In any case NcSoft management MUST take action.
Please note: This is not a player correctable action. This situation is NOT part of the game yet your silence implies that it is and therefore you have dumped this issue, specifically, and others directly on the backs of your "real" players. In response disgruntled players are leaving the game everyday. In addition there is a movement to bring this issue to the mass media which will provide you all kinds of negative exposure within the MMORPG community. How damaging will such an article be when it appears in a major gaming publication to your current & potential future subscriber base? Do you care? At the moment even you must acknowledge that the problem is beyond your control and your efforts are failing. It's very evident to most of us that the efforts taken to date are ineffective and insufficient to curb the problem.
How many times will the deletion of threads and the closing of discussions work for you in your effort to pull the wool over your NA customer base? How stupid do you really think we are?
I think we are running to the end of that.
At what point can we expect you to take real positive verifiable action? We who's dollars pay your paychecks, we normal players who just want to play a game with a level playing field, we players who have devoted time, effort and our hard earned $$ to play a game that is supposed to be CHEAT FREE. (Your ELUA places a legal burden on you to provide a level playing field for all players regardless of national origin. It expressly implies that cheating of any sort will be found out and dealt with accordingly). Clearly this is not the case.
You owe us a explanation and a time table of when we can expect action & a comprehensive resolution to this issue.
By Definition: The EULA contract between Players and NCSoft is breached when NCSoft no longer takes the precautionary measures to prohibit such actions from taking place. With NCSoft breaking their own contract and I, the paying customer being forced to play without these rules and regulations enforced, am entitled to take my own measures to personally seeing that I am compensated for the money i have spent on this game and the TIME I have wasted playing this game.
Now honestly, do I want to do this? NO! I DONT WANT TO DO THIS, BUT I SEE NO OTHER WAY TO WAKE NCSOFT UP! I'm going to ask very nicely, "PLEASE wake up and get rid of these illegal activities and see that the proper actions are taken against these individuals".
Let me be clear. The Game Master department dedicates more than the majority of its time to removing User Agreement violators from the service. There is no argument to be made here.
The Game Master team will never, ever remove an account from this service just for having a lot of complaints. (Most people would agree with this if they saw the notes on their accounts.) Just because someone complains about an account does not make an account a User Agreement Violator.
Raid Boss Farmers will not be removed from this service unless they are found violating the User Agreement. With that said we are currently working on a case related to these complaints. But keep in mind these investigation take time, and if nothing is found... nothing will be done.
Lol I won't quote all you said cause it's to long but I will sum it all up for you.
Lineage 2 is a game. It has 12 chronicles. We are in chronicle 4. 8 to go. In order for people to keep playing till c12, drops are very low and the game is kept hard. There is no solution to this other than feed you petty stuff every chronicle (nerfs, boosts, content).
The game is hard. Fact. How do you make it easier? Have someone or something play it 24/7 for you till you get to where you wanna be, hence bots with real names.
The drop rate is low. Solution? Bots do the farming for you while your at work earning dollars, coming home and getting "gifts" from adena seller in exchange for dollars you worked for.
Raid boss farmers exist because they are needed. And there is no freekin solution to it. That's why nothing is done, or it seems like nothing is done. To make farmers go away, you raise drop rates. You do that people quit after they get everything they want in game and move way before c12.
You ban ebayers, which by now is like 80% of all servers you screw yourself over. You ban bots which is 60% of all servers, you screw yourself over. So the best thing to do is just ride the wave and hopefully in Lineage 3 things are done differently. Until then, good game. Have fun.
Went to do Raid Bosses yesterday, 7 were up in normal spots, we gather and head out, farmers were killing every boss right before us. 2 parties of 9 killing lvl 65+ raid bosses.......And only 1 of them would answer pm's ....
NCsoft can and do take action against the Raid Boss farmers.
On my server at least two seperate groups of Raid farmers have been banned in the last year. Unfortunately for us, each time one group gets banned the group that follows is more vicious, has more characters and tries far harder to get absolutely everything.
I just think the GM team are massively overworked and require a high burden of proof to ban most people. I kind of agree with Choch I guess.
It is however strange that some players or farmers get banned far faster for cheating than others, I'm not making a conspiracy here but I wonder why some are harder to catch than others. Considering the difference between farmer bottrain a and farmer bottrain b is very little.
Your giving an example without actually adding anything useful to the topic such as a solution. Stuff like this gets threads locked/deleted/ignored and I can see why.

That answer is simple. If you look at fan sites, you will see that it's all about how you talk, who you talk to and in what tone. There have been people on fan sites who flat out admitted to botting, ebaying etc. and that have been unbanned because of threats they made, or simply stating facts. Such as you cant ban me without proof. I want to see the proof. Anyway, it's all getting out of control. I definetely don't see myself playing until c12. Maybe a part of c5. If I didn't reroll so much I would of quit the game forever a long time ago. There's so many other good ones out there that are my style. But for now I'm still hooked.
How in the world can you ignore where these RBF came from and what their goals are? If indeed all the toons that are RBF's were leveled legally and are played by a live person who is gathering gear to make themselves or their friends better great but lets face it...that is simply NOT the case. In fact if it were they wouldn't be RBF's they BE PLAYERS LIKE ME.
Simple facts:
The RBF's are/were botted toons
They sell the gear for real world $$
They are controlled by a 3rd party program to farm RB's
They play the game solely for real world financial gain and therefore they do not care about content and take content away from the real players who want to play within the rules and enjoy what they pay for...
We real players can tell when the something smells bad. And this just plain stinks.
Wow, you sir are hard headed. Why blame someone for doing their job. And get your freekin facts straight before you post something.
Mistryl doesn't decide what stays and goes in game. Her job as it states is that of a Community Coordinator. What does she have to do with banning raid boss farmers? Frankly, I don't even know why she bothers to answer posts like these. She simply coordinates the wishes of the NA players to Korea, or at least that's what I would expect. Everything else is extra and should be paid extra :D (monitoring the website).
Do you offer a clear solution that solves all problems? No. And I have one more thing to add which is not a solution, but who cares. I am getting sick of all the moaning.
One word: butthurt. It is used a lot on fansites. People complain cause other ebay and bot. Dont like it? Do it too. Someone gets ahead of you because they are rich in real life and buy loads of adena. Get a job and do it too. If you can't beat em, join em. Or quit.
We are completely aware of the facts. You will either have to wait and see if something is done. If you do not wish to wait... so be it. But restating the same thing over and over in here will not make any action more quick. Using personal attacks and degrading language will not hasten action. It will only get your voice removed from this forum.
You have not been silenced. Your post is there.
Those that had their posts removed broke a forum rule or two.
This thread will be locked so your thoughts will be seen by all.
