Sorc or SH for combo with another SH?

Ok, so my friend is playing an SH and I would like to roll a nuker that goes well with his. I was planning on doing another SH, but then I realized that force combos would be impossible. So I thought a sorc might be good until I thought about their C4 changes: cancel and AoE got the nerf bat. Also, mana management with a sorc is much worse than with a SH, meaning he'll probably have to sit around and wait while I regen. We are planning on duoing quite a lot, and we are aiming for a late or end-game PvP combination (of course with the stipulation that we both want to be nukers, hands down). So I'm looking for opinions: should I go with the sorc or with the SH?
Edited (pseudo-bump, it's pretty much a new topic).
your going to want to use "shadow flair" alot, cause you wan tto lvl fast, and it has a simi long cool down.

My sugestion is to reroll to SH like wise with his, I had a friend on ERICA that did a system *it's legal* that let him use two SH the nuked at the same time. with his set up he killed all mobs in 1 hit.*one nukes but two casters*

You can also manage you MP better, cause his going to regn his MP fatser then you would. BTM at lvl 5 ( lvl 66) gives you 61 MP back, scor. only has lvl 1 BTM which gives like 22 MP.

and in a pair you trade off on use uses surrender. where that wouldn't work so well for scor/SH combo...even tho scor. gets surrender to wind.

tho you could do AoE together since Scor is great at AoE!
I'm thinking I might stick with sorc anyway since the end-game is better PvP-wise. Prominance should go well with his single nukes, plus I will have the sorc debuffs which are nice. And my lack of overhit won't matter since we'll be duoing. I'll just make sure he gets the last hit. Body to Mind level 1 isn't the best out there, but it's better than nothing. And if we ever do get into small AoE groups at higher levels, we will be all set. Am I missing anything?
So umm... yeah... any more input on this anyone? Please?
You could always just manage your mana by slowing down your attacks. If your grouped with a SH who has a better mana situation than you then just slow down how often you attack. Since you are grouped you will be able to watch the SH's mana bar and adjust your attacking accordingly. I do this with my SH when in groups. I could machine gun fire nuke after nuke. Instead I make sure I am doing enough damage to contribute to the party and manage my mana that way, so I can continue contributing to the party and not have to sit for a mana break. Plus if the poo hits the fan I have managed my mana enough so I can expend a chunk of mana saving our butts.
Yeah I thought about that but the end result is the same. He's still sitting around while I regen mana. The only difference is, instead of doing it all in one big chunk, it's more spread out. I think I'm going to go with a different approach instead. Since we will be duoing, we can just duo like normal until I run out of mana. Because of SH mana management abilities, he should be pretty near to full when that happens, so he can solo away till I am regened. We can just switch off like that with practically zero downtime, although we kills will be a very slight bit slower. Sorc it is!
have fun.

Just so you kow, I played a scor up to lvl 75 on PTS(subclass), I just didn't like the class. cause my nukes where, hit hit aura burn every time.got annoying!

On live with my Necor it's 2 hits they die. and I don't need gloom. tho I'm preatty high lvl right now, just pointing out.

I hope you the best in your endevores, what server will you be on?
Looks like you made your decision, but let me suggest this. The better combo would be for you to go SE. He nukes away and you buff/heal/regen him. Also SPS might have been a good choice as well because while the SH has better power/mp management, the sps has faster cast, aoe sleep and the light attack so in cases where you're hunting dark resist mobs, you can do the overhits or the attacks that the mobs are weak to. If you decide to stay sorc, still not a bad choice.
My 72 Sorcerer often duos with a 74 SH (with OOP SE buffs). My matk is slightly higher than his (I have NM and +5 INT, he has DC and +4 INT) so our dmg is about the same. As long as we don't have to do more than 2 nukes per mob, we can pretty much hunt indefinitely. If I do a B2M after every other nuke and I'm in walk mode, MP management isn't an issue.
Even though you seem to have made up your mind now, let me provide some fact in favour of the SH. Or a necro for that matter.
Much better mana management. A bit more M.Atk. Shared benefit of surrender ~20% more damage to strong (multiple hp) mobs or players. Able to make some really cool Curse Death Link parties (eg. TOI). Drain enemy's health to easliy and effectively replenish your own. Silence. About combo spells: actually Demon Wind requires 3 SH. Not that you will be using it much, but it's perhaps the most usefull one (debuffs hp regen = nice for raids).
Now necro will provide most of this, except for shared surrender and combo spells, BUT will add: Curse Gloom = 1/3 stronger attacks + easier debuff landing for both of you. 2x Sorc's durability with summon and Transfer Pain. Anchor. Superior PvP presence.
Now from a Pvp perspective Cancel was a real good argument to pick upa a sps/sorc. But in Ch5 it's getting nerfed to affect only up to 5 spells, so it will be less overpowered.
What about Necro? Has b2m, and debuffs which can help the SH's damage. Can think of a few methods of hunting in this duo without it costing the necro a fortune in bones.

1. Necro Vamp claw, SH Solar Flare, b2m after each nuke and SH Claw when needed.
2. Both CDL 2 hit mobs.
3. Necro glooms, SH 1 hits with CDL. Necro acts as sleeper incase of failed attacks / ads.
4. Add in an SE / Proph to root stuff and CDL multi HP mobs.

In PvP the necro and gloom the target and nuke while the SH surrenders and nukes... Necro opens the attacks as he has more HP and summon while SH adds high damage with Hurricane to surrdenerd/gloomed target. Both have silence and SH has slow for those high HP meele.
