for some reason i cant trade my +9 [censored] to him. any idea why?

yep, but for some reason it wont show up to trade. nor will my dark screamer. but a random d grade weapon does...

Do they have SAs on them?

if you got a SA on the weapon it will not show in the trade window.
you also have to make sure it's not equipt.
And I fond out (guess they made some changes) that if you trade up a low D to top D that the ++ on it will not Xfer over.
IE: +12 manguchie will not trade over for +12 mithril, it would become a +0 mithril.
