I purchased my key today and went to download the game... and I can't. Before it said 250 or so users are already on so I can't download and now it's saying "421 anonymous logins are not allowed here". What's the workaround?

Fileplanet requires a subscribtion to download lineage 2 and im not waiting for a subscribtion to fileplanet, and the link on the main site is not working (pretty safe to say that after clicking it for about 200 times).
I'm downloading it free from there right now. Though it is a four and a half hour download, as opposed to the shorter time promised by the non-working main site here.
I must admit I'm rather surprised that this is an issue and by the response I recieved. "Just keep clicking the button or go get it from someone else." I was and am terribly impressed with the level of customer support for City of Heroes. Not so far with Lineage II... it shouldn't be difficult for me to obtain something I just paid for. "Give me money, now, go jump through all those hoops and wait an extra two hours and you'll get it!"
On the other hand, when things go smooth I'll praise you up, down, and sideways. But this bugs me.
I'm pushing hard for NC to offer a torrent download of the client or to come up with a basic install, where just the needed files are used to get the games updater to work and patch from there.
But i've been at this for over a month and don't see any signs of progress.

I am also having the same problem. I contacted support but they told me to use Fileplanet. I got the C4 file from there but a warning popped up saying it was invalid or corrupted. YEARGH!! I am supposed to be on my 14 day trial right now but it is not letting me DL it...
How long has this been going on for? And has there been any word on weather or not they are going to fix their FTP so that people who bought the game on their PlayNC account can download it?

This has been going on since C4, i have complained about it since then. I want them to offer a torrent download, but they are draging their feet.
Have your friend create the folder C:\Program Files\LineageII
Then zip up a copy of LineageII.exe and patchw32.dll .... And send it to your friend, have them place both files in the folder LineageII they made.
Have them then click on the LineageII.exe and select file check to get the games updater running

At this time, no. I'm pushing for a third alternative which would be a bit torrent download. But i'm pushing up against a mountain here.

Winzip, Winrar or letting windows xp unzip it is the only ones. Have you tried all three?
The only UNoffical route is a basic install i made. You have to end up downloading everything with the games updater which means 2.2 gigs of data.
I bought an online code last night and I dont have any basic files or anything to make a basic setup like yours is there some other place to get the basic game files from?
