I just thought I would share this with you guys!
Anyways yesterday I was doing an event raid boss with my clan & allies yesterday and there was about 20 of us & we realized after people started dying that we couldn't kill the raid boss the first time so they told everyone to log but I didn't want to log and the RB was moving from person to person so fast that it made it difficult for people to SOE BUT being a Prophet and all & having my return skill made me SOE very easily and not die Which was great & I didn't have to worry about the boss attacking me I didn't pull arggo on him in the first place so at the time I felt how nice it was to be a healer in that situation :D
lol...even better to have an EE. Usually if a raid goes south, we have all non-tanks SoE while the tank group holds the boss off. When they're gone, we PR. My alliance has 2 EE's, so we rarely lose anybody.
LOL everyone was rezzed and alive already when people started logging & SOEing it's not like I left someone out there to die.. Our leader told one person to leave and she wouldn't and she just kept hitting the boss so eventually after everyone already logged or SOE'd she died even thou she wasn't the tank and that was her own fault! :D
Prophets might not be an actual healer after 40+ BUT all threw 1-39 they were a healer like all the rest (cleric) and even thou we wish so much, people wouldn't expect us to be a healer or even do any heals, everytime I'm in a group with, I'm always buffing & healing away :) So ya I consider myself still in the healer category since 85% of the time I'm always healing somebody!!!!
LMAO re-read my post I said we ARE a Healer from 1-39 a Cleric actually LOL thats why I was saying I still put myself in the healer area cuz for most of my time thats all I was till second class change!
LOL I'm not expected to get graded for my typing/writing so if you can't read that then you've got some major problems
Instead of writing a stupid post like you did, why don't you just edit my post and fix where the comma's & periods should go
LOL seriously people I'm at work sometimes I don't have time to dot the "I" so if you don't understandi it then don't read it or reply :p Thank you come again!!!!

If you want to be taken even slightly seriously, throw us some punctuation now and then. No one wants to grade you or correct your posts. However, it is painful to read large paragraphs containing little or no punctuation. Remember, you know what you wrote, we don't until we can read it. It's not that difficult.
Until then, assume that only about 5% of the regulars here will even read what you are writing.
omg thats soooo cool, you used return!!!!!!!!
i should make a new post every time i return my prophet when she has a mob on her.
OMG prophets are so cool cause she didnt die cause she has return.
You don't have a healer do you? I can tell that just from your post. The post was meant to show that even thou Healers/Prophets are considered a very under estimated class they still can surprise you. I had 3 other people besides me get attacked, and b/c there SOE's were so slow in teleporting them back to town the cast got interrupted & had to run. My Return on the other was almost instant to bring me back to town & a lot fast then a normal SOE!

Hooray for punctuation, i now love you! lol
But still, im an EE, ill come post when i save my entire party from death ;)
ctually I didn't write that my friend did for the hell of it.
Also before I even left the raid I must of rezzed 5 people (not all in my group) and healed the tank enough times so that he could run with the RB following him. (with out just dying) It's hard to healer a group of 20 or more, with 4 healers already SOE'D & I'm the only non-healer (apparently) left.
ya but when I do they tend to think that comment was meant for the response above. Not for all the people who posted. Then they take it personally which is funny, I love it :)
Um.. I don't know about everyone else, but when someone replies to me, I tend to think they're talking to me, unless they're clearly talking about something else entirely. I guess you do have a very advanced sense of humour, because I sure as hell don't get how that can be funny.
Or you don't value clear communication, and you just troll...
LOL I'm not expected to get graded for my typing/writing so if you can't read that then you've got some major problems
You do get graded. People subconsciously put less value in the opinions of people who are difficult to understand. If you have trouble imagining this online, just think of how a group of highschoolers acts around a guy with a stutter. They just assume he's a fool before they even listen to what he's saying. That's what happens to badly-written posts--they have strike one before they even pick up the bat, so to speak.
If they read it at all.
Instead of writing a stupid post like you did, why don't you just edit my post and fix where the comma's & periods should go
You realize that nobody can edit your post but you, right? *eyeroll*
You think just because the post name was to you, that it was a direct response to you, but doesn't mean it was. I was trying to respond to all the other oens as well with the same post. Ya and it is funny! So I guess I do have a sense of humour. :D

Not only is that logical, but if someone is looking at the board via the threaded view, that is their only real option. They don't even see the other post sometimes.
You actually can edit the post. Re-writting something is considered a form of editing and if they really cared about it that much then they can go ahead and do that.
I tend to write my post the way I talk. Run on sentences and just talking away... ya it can sound annoying but most of my female friends and I tend to talk like that. Most people would tell us to take a breathe inbetween.

I'm well aware of that. But don't tell me you don't see how I could percieve it that way.
Ok. I'm done talking to you. It should be clear to you what I mean. Unless you wanna talk in circles, which I suspect you don't mind.
Either way it doesn't matter I seem to be in the situation of "****ed if you do, ****ed if you don't". I can't make everyone happy and I'm not even trying too, cuz I don't even know any of you in the first place.

Usually the phrase "edit my post" involves, you know, editing your post. I'm sure you can see how it may not have been the best choice of words if that's not what you meant at all :p

ok so I'll start correcting my typing and put periods & comma's in where they belong ok! Only if you will correct your spelling "perceive is spelled like that. Remember the rule "I before E, except after C" :p
LOL hun I don't think you know the meaning of shallow. I haven't been shallow at all I'm just defending myself & having a little bit of fun here. Some people get worked up over nothing. :p Like they said have a sense of humour!
I never corrected your grammar, or complained about it.
It is true I don't spell everything correctly, but I try my best. You can't demand that a non native speaker has perfect grammar or spelling.
But since you're calling me out like that, you need to make a bigger effort, if you're gonna be correcting people like that ;)

Corrected version, with edits in red:

Is that what you had in mind? It seems a little more harsh than just doing it right in the first place or not arguing when someone complains.
Also, I hope that I've sufficiently pointed out that you're a total hypocrite. You made at least eight mistakes correcting his single mistake.
I would honestly suggest that, if you don't want to take the time to do it right, you simply ignore your detractors entirely and let them learn to ignore you. Arguing with them just makes you look worse.
There ya go! What happened to not being able to correct or edit a post? You just did it right there LOL
Usually the phrase "edit my post" involves, you know, editing your post. I'm no longer quite so sure sure you can see how it may not have been the best choice of words if that's not what you meant at all :p
I said that in the beginning. If you can't read what I write then don't read it and don't post. People don't listen and they just keep posting thats why I find this entertaining. :D
Who's being picked on? I don't feel like I'm being picked on at all. If you're picking on someone it's more like calling them names. Correcting my writing.. not really being picked on.

I'm glad you feel that way. You're wrong though:
Pick On: to find fault or make petty criticisms
...how can what we're doing be construed as anything but picking on you?
Actually your wrong. This isn't petty criticism. Does that mean everytime a teacher corrects errors in someone's stories that they are picking on the person? Not at all it's creative criticism. Thats exactly what your doing. I never even argued about my run on sentences, I agreed to it.
Before I start typing this
<- English isnt my first language. I know my grammar can suck sometimes, especially since I there is no way Im going to type this in Word, grammar check it and copy and paste it here. So before anyone comments on it, I know my english sux sometimes!
Back to the original subject: " why healers are the best"
Truth of the matter is they are NOT. Im not saying this because I dont play them and dont know them... because you can clearly see Ive played a few support classes. Im saying this because the is NO " best" class. They all have their advantages/dissadvantages. Yes prophets and EE can use return... and it is an avantage since they dont have to buy bsoe all the time. But it does not make them the "best". All classes have something special that they are good at ..... except maby dwarves but for the sake of the conversation those will be excluded.
So please please people, dont go saying your class is "the best". They may be good at a few things but they cant be good at everything. You cannot say a class is the best overall because of one specific skill... and a skill does not make a class good , its the player behind it.
Recap: A sigle class IMO cannot be labled "the best class". However, they can be the best at a specific thing. So no more arguing about whos the best over all. Bishops and EE best at rezing, prophets and EE best at getting their *** out of tight situations fast without using bsoe...
End of story !
I read the Original Post without a problem, and didn't realize there was no punctuation until I saw Mortova's post... I had to read the OP again to make sure, lol.
For totally different reasons I agree healers are great. Just took a hatchling from from 35-54 using only an SE (and yes an SE can keep aggro). Oh yeah, somewhere along the way we did pick up a prophet. It took 2 days (5 hours ea) and today is 3rd and needing only 90% more.
edit: hatchling just became a strider!!! Time to get another flute!

try useing a necro to para the mobs for ya.
I've not raise me a hachling cause I'm waiting to get my PP to 52 first.
Para takes too long to reuse. The SE tanks and maintains hate without hitting the mob so the hatch gets all the xp. BTW using the right strategy a single SE can do the strider quest and I will add that no exploits are used. It's all in the strategy.

Spam root for aggro?
Wind shackle ;)
Slows the mob's DPS way down, and gains aggro. Just recast it when it wears off, or so often that you don't lose aggro ^^
Root is a very bad idea, mobs tend to hit the PC closest if the rooter is out of range and has highest aggro.
For my SO in light armour without acumen pots, it casts in a bit less than a second and takes about that long again to refresh. So for most healers - less than that. :)
