Do all the quests you can, as many times as you can. Focus on upgrading weapon, it's your bread and butter.
I would like to say one little thing, I'd think twice, or even three times about making a Temple Knight.. they're not very popular, which is why there is like 3-5 of them total on our server, that I know about. A Swordsinger is a great class that will be in high demand from level 49 and out :> Just my 2 cents on the matter.
I am just amazed how many people call me in game to say "hello... need something ? i red ur post...". Lionna is great and people, better. About my decision to be TK: i dont want to be the best pvper of all, just feel and be like a true tk in game =P. And for raid bosses ? i can tank for everybody, just call me when u want.
It's not all about being the best at pvp... it's about leveling. People don't want tanks in their parties, unfortunately. Any tank, human, DE or LE has this problem. They have hard time finding groups, to the point that many of them reroll because they can't level. And then on top of that you add in the fact that TKs got the short end of the stick when it comes to skills and stuff....
Take it from me, I play a crappy class to level too. People don't want you in their groups, you don't get to xp, you get discouraged, etc. etc. And it's not like xp at the higher levels is easy, we're talking 3% an hour, or less. And because no one wants you in their group all you can do is solo (tanks are not DDs, so that's not fast xp) or put together sucky groups with all the other classes people don't want (tanks, dorfs, EEs, maybe the ocassional bishop, etc.) I mean, it is possible to get in with a good group of people and get leveled, but it's still more difficult to level a TK than a SwS. People will BEG SwS to come to their groups, but will usually only take a TK if they feel they have to.
I do have a room mate who has mostly solo'd a TK to lvl 60. Like Listof said it's hard to get groups except for raids as many groups prefer a hybrid of some sort that can do damage. TK's actaully solo remarkably well. Hower when i say that understand that it comes from my old belief that they CANNOT solo so it's still not good at all. I recommend a good clan to remedy the issue. Don't get me wrong, TK is useful but not a high demand class.
