new c5 cg video

Ok so we have

LE in maj robes with a re-colored Valhalla sword
VS
DE with unkown robes ( i couldnt figure out wtf they were ) with..omg? DUEL DAGGERS? They look like a cross between a grace dagger and a DE dagger to me.

So im guessin its an EE vs an SE.

Im still freaking out about the dual daggers, usually NC gives a teaser of what is to come in the next cronicals in the CG video's ( like the eye in the moon in the c1 video if i recall correctly ). Also, wtf is up with the flags at the end of the video? Clan acadamy, or war with Gracia comeing soon maybe? =D.

the DE and LE girls in the video are really hot.

... and I can't grasp the top piece :/

Dual Daggers? I hope they will come with big disadvantage. otherwise it will be insane. Remember though, that some swords look like daggers and some daggers like swords :P so thes might be just some short swords.

As for the flags... the middle one is recurring from previous (C3) movie. It was on Aden Castle back then.

It's not Demon *Set*. but there are no other stockings and gloves that fit. Just the chest piece doesn't fit... and I can't find it.

Personally, I don't think it's anything (regarding armor or robes).

Seems to me the Artists just wanted to make a cool fighting movie and drew from the visual resources of the game. Artistic License.

lol.. yeah... when you first see the light elf "ever-so-slowly" turning, all the while seeing her slowly reveal her thigh... well, I think the artists need to start dating real women. :) (not that they didn't do s good job of course ;) )

ok... It *is* demon. Everything up to shoulderpads and collar fits... except the breastpiece.
Anyone heard anything about texture changes? Or maybe original Demon top was deemed too revealing? :P

I don't like the DEs face :/ they didn't put much effort into that it seems :/

if they had used demon top the vid would be R-rated.

EVERYTHING is pretty open on DE's lol. Practically every armour has a thong in it somewhere.

Again, I think you all are looking to deep into this. It's just the artists using ingame designs and incorporating them into the movie.

Another interesting thing I find is that all these L2 movies feature sword fighting. That would indicate that the NC puts a heavy premium on melee.

But somehow I don't think that's true :)

It's not that I doubt that these robes/armor look like in-game items. I just think that the artists said, "hey, we will have a light elf and a dark elf fighting. what are some interesting robe/armor sets ingame."

I mean, if one wanted to take it literally, they both jump up in the air about 25 feet.

And as we all know, if your adena drop is about 2' "off" on a rock, it's gone.

Also, I think the dark elf wins. After all, why does she pause with a smug look on her face and then deliver a final blow?

That would have to be it. With an altered Breastplate. Of course why there is no magic being used is beyond me. It's striclty fast and furiou sword fighting which is always associated with SE.

Nvm, that would require NC 1. Giving a dam, and 2. Making an effort.

I think that they just used the items available in the game to look good, but the classes itself, well NC Soft has always shown this SwordSinger in their videos, I suppose it her with a new haircut, fighting her evil twin the BladeDancer *_*
