I'm enjoying myself at the moment. I know it will take a while to get to a level where a clan would accept me, but that's no problem. I'm running around getting totally confused and dying all over the place - and loving it!
I'm sure I'll get a hang of it and stop dying so much. Still, managed to make level 12 on both my guys.

Hey... Nice to know there are some more peeps 20+ in here. Being as it is, I'm looking for more mature players to party with etc. I'm returning to lineage again now, got bored last summer with my now L34 cleric. I want to try out the orc fighters, probably going to choose the destroyer class.
Well, i'm 33, and like i said, most of the Shillien Empire is around this age !
That's also one of the things i like about Lineage, it's kind of a "mature players" game ;)

And yes, when you're 33 years old, you dont see the point of hanging around with 16-yo dudes.

Yes, in real life, perhaps. In game though, you don't actually see each other, so does it really matter what the age of the person behind the computer is?

I do totally agree with you, as I rarely ever ask anyones age in a game. As long as they are sensible, good fun and act mature they are all friends of mine ;)

It doesnt really matter, i was just responding to the post where you say we were "judging" people based on their age.
So i said it wasnt a matter of judgement, it was just that you usually hang out with people about your own age !
It's not to say that some are better than others, that's just how life is, be it in real life or in some way in Lineage II as well because of the community aspect of the game, you usually get along better with people the same age as you...

I used to play Neocron before this. After about a year I found my oldest friend in the game was 17. I was like, "Dude, you don't act it!". Also found out a dumb little kid who started annoying me was 44 :eek:

Yes i think you're right, you should wait a bit, see what class and style of play suits you the most, and then decide which clan would be the more fun and interesting for you !
