Hi Guys/Gals, I've done my class change quests to become a spellhowler. But how do you actually "become" the howler, I'm lvl40 got the 3 badges. I thought when I became 40 that would be it!

check here (http://lineage2.stratics.com/content/library/quests/quest.php?id=228)

Then, if that makes sense, go to the Dark elf guild in Giran and speak with the head of it and see if there is a choice to change to spellhowler. If not talk with the mage trainer.

It's been so long that I can't really remember (and also I found the quests to be unbearable and so I probably blocked it out of my memory).

Also, (http://lineage2.stratics.com/content/library/quests/ccq.php) check here for the other parts of the quest as well.
Thanks Sovrath, had to talk to the Boss, not the trainer. I'm now a Howler whoopeeee!. Just got to save a few million to get some good rags and weapon lol, thank you :)
You're welcome.

Isn't it wonderful how the quests are so well laid out that once they are finished you have to go to the boards to find out what to do to finish?

Quite frankly, I think I had to do the same thing! :p :p :p
Actually Kaira does tell you to speak to the Grand Magister in order to get the class change and designation of Spellhowler. At least, that's what I recall. :D

Ain't that the truth. I was broke so I had to walk/soed to all the places that I had to go to for the quest. Only rich people ported back in the day. Glad that's all behind me now... er now to do the level 75 quests... oh noes

Might have missed that because the type and line spacing is so small that I find it painful to read.

And yeah... been looking at the subclass quests as well as the 3rd class transfer quest.

Sigh... it's coming up... and it's not going to be pretty.
The Ketra Orc part has to be the worst part so far for me. The 50 mobs is ok if you get a group. Haven't hit 76 yet so I can't finish the rest of the quest. PvP and seiges are conspiring to keep me under 20%. :p
Does anyone know of a walkthrough for the subclass quest that is up to date? I'm a long ways away from it but may read about it and dream...

In fairness, isn't it the same premise as the first class change? The quest is one guy and the actual advancement, when you're the right level, is a top-tier guy of your type?

Your right.

Though at the time, I remember finishing the last quest and then having an issue with who to go to next. Was a long time ago. I know for me, I was expecting something more definitive like clicking on "quest" and having the quest giver inidcate that I have finished all 3 quests and that now I should visit blah blah in giran.

Of course now that I've played the game longer I do just as you say and have been clicking on the main guild members for any pertinant information regarding my class.

No worries. It was literally years ago when I did this quest for my SH. The only reason why it's so fresh now is because I had to do the quest last week for my SE. i actually hate the second class change quests so much that I waited until the SO was 44 to do the quests. I HATE CLASS CHANGE QUESTS.

lol.. I almost quit. Only reason I finished was because obviously people were able to get through it so I felt that I could rise to the occassion.

Be a real masochist...have two characters hit ~40 in the same week.

Ow.

But wait, it gets better...

At the time I wasn't sure if I wanted the SK to be an SK or a BD...so I did the class change quests for both classes! Obviously I wasn't sure which class to choose even after I selected SK. I eventually wound up re-rolling a BD... which meant doing the quests all over again.

And over the weekend I decided to roll an assassin to be either an AW or PR. Yep, in another week or so I'll be back at Magister Kaira's doing yet another mind-numbing quest. Stop the insanity!
