yet another thing I dont get. Im already married in real life. Just dont see why I would want to do the same to my game.could you imagine. "Homiside!! NO PK until you do the dishes!!!" :(
Marriage in game is only a role play thing. There is no mechanism to get married in the game. There is 'formal wear' you can quest for, but it's only clothes.
So..if you are looking for some sort of game thing where you get married and get benefits from it...you are going to be disappointed.

LoL ... i can so relate to the above statement... yeah i dont know about getting married in-game as well :)
They'd probably end up adding a non-turn-off-able marriage chat channel. God, I can imagine it now...
"Why you still 60!?!"
"Why'd you hit that sleeping mob, idiot!?!"
"My last husband was a hero. What have you done!?!"
"I'm still waiting for that majestic ring you promised!!!"
As I would hope my wife likes me. but she likes me better when im doing dishes. I just cant imagine getting married in game. 2 wives would be just to much to handle. Have to admire the mormons on this one. they have more tolerance than I will ever have. :p

well speaking of having a 2nd one in-game, my toon is a female DE, my wife already gets upset when i play. she always accuses me of staring at the monitor, mouth wide-open, starry eyed everytime i play, ofcourse that is NOT the case, but you know the wifey gets all upset. that reminds me, tomorrow is our 2nd year anniversary which means that i'll have to go out at night for dinner (sacrificing my L2 time...****!)
well, i think they should add a marriage system, that gives bonuses as follow:
male characters : every level he gets more hp than normal, but loses speed (gettin fat uhu?)
female characters : every level she will gain speed (she needs to hurry, after grinding she needs to prepare dinner, get child from school, take out the dog and keep warehouse clean!). she also gets a "poison on critic" when fighting her husband.
*edit*
PS: of course the wife will be able to read all the PMS of her husband... and approve or cancel them before they display to him :P

I don't think the local femenists will like that very much :p
I sense many disfunctional marriages in the future, namely how a DE female wont get kidnapped and ***** because shes strutting her stuff like the local ******s lol.
(Dont piss off your wife, im sure she'll slam you with a 75+ Hurricane later lol)
technically upon marriage the wife should get access to all the husband's stuff.....
Upon marriage his warehouse items should be thrown out in the trash.....and his chat turned off as he will never need to speak again.
so its the last day on earth, or day of judgement. and everyone is lined up in a really long line to be questioned by god about his doings while he/she was alive. anyhow, god goes, "i want all the men that are afraid of their wives to line up in one line to my left and all the men that are NOT afraid of their wives to line up on my right."
a really long line forms to the left of God, and a poor soul just stands all alone to the right of God.
to this God says, "you see, there is only one of you that was able to stand up to his spouse, how pathetic can you all be, look at my child, alone and powerful! dear child, tell every man here, what did you do that you are standing all alone here today."
the man replies, "not much dear God, my wife just told me to stand in this line, so i did....."

True story, once we (my entire family) were at my parent's house for Thanksgiving or some **** thing. Anyway, my oldest brother (the only one married at the time) pipes up and says "They say that married men live longer." My father, without missing a beat says "No, it just seems that way..."

HAHAHAHAHAHA *chocks* falls* hahaha*stomach in pain*teary eyes* haha
Personally I can't say much (if anything) on this subject, but... HEHEHEHE very good story can come out of it. At lease the tall tales from my folks and when they were dating won't put me to sleep. =D

Either you're joking or are very naive. Mormons( a nickname for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) only have one wife. While at one time polygamy was practiced among the mormons it has not been for many many years. And those that still do practice it might claim to be, but are not mormons. I don't want to start a religeous war. I just wanted to clarify things for someone who might read your post and actually belive that mormons have more than one wife. ;)
