Using special characters in names

I saw someone using a character in their name that looked like a W but it had slashes going through it like they used ANSI or ASCII.

I was curious how to make the letters ö or Ð. Or if anyone can list what special characters can be used in name generation with a key-code on how to do this I would appreciate it. (trying to be creative making a new toon with a name thats already been taken)

The backslash key does that for some reason. The one under backspace.

It's because of the asian language pack. I believe with it installed you get the W with the slash and without it installed you get the normal \
