some questions for anyone in the know

1.is the enchant success rate as advertized? how many times have you guys failed an enchant

2.anyone enchanted a summon yet? anyone gone +2 or more?

3.if +1 is 3 mil xp and 300k sp and a book, what is +2? is it 4 mil xp 400k sp and another book?

4.what happens when you fail say a +10? does the skill reset or does it stay +10 until you try again?
1.
hard to say if enchant success rate is as advertized, i failed 2 times 98% chance, but i could be just unlucky
+9 Root (chance) (failed +1,+6,+10,+6,+5+,+3,+8,+6,+5)
+6 Bless the Soul (time)
+4 Bless the Body (time) (failed +1,+4)
+5 Kiss of Eva (cost)
+0 Wind Walk (time) (failed +3)

2. dont have summon -.-
3. its different for each type of skills, for root chance its same (around 3mil xp) till +9...+10 is 5mil xp...for buffs it starts at 1.8mil if I remember well and around +5 its 2.1mil

4. it goes to +0, losing everything
Check out weinerthezon's posts on l2pets.com :) He has pictures up with stats of enchanted pure summoner servitors.
When you get your summon to +10 you will get a surprise, too!!
I did skill enchanting on the PTS with my sagitous.

geting +6 on stun shot (chance) was about 2% XP, going from 0-6 is about 8% give or take. SP not sure, never had trouble with that. but to get to +7 is a 40% chance or less, I really can't remember.

I gave all of the skills I had + to power(snipe, double shot, so on), at the point where your 76+ it's all about PvP, so you want to make your self and your skills as powerfull as you can.
Does anyone have a good source for the what effects you get with enchanting skills? I've heard all kinds of rumors, but haven't been able to find an actual list.
well, i started playing again three weeks ago and these are my enchant rates so far

+7 dual 107's
+6 dual 107's
fail going +5 dual 107's
fail going +4 elven earring
+4 staff of life
+4 staff of life
+4 elven necklace
+4 elven necklace
+4 elven ring
+4 elven ring
+4 elven ring
+4 elven earring
+4 elven earring
+4 dark screamer

As you see my luck is unbelievable...last character I had I blew up plenty of stuff so not sure whats up.

edit:omg didnt read the whole title, srry
So what does the skill called "dual 107's" do? :D
Where do I find what skills WarSmiths get to enchant?

(I'm hoping for some sort of enchant that brings the % chance on a craft from 60 to 100% ^^)

I've been wondering this as well.
You can go look at that site we're not supposed to link to and click on tools -> skill enchants.

I hope this is vague enough not to be deleted :p
I found it. pm me if you need the link, it's not one we're sposed to post on here.

It's a good starter, but a little vague about how high you really need to go for the effects to kick in. I reckon it'll work though.

There's some zesty stuff on there for BH's - spoil debuff/DoT, Spoil Festival Debuff/DoT, Hammercrush increased landing rate, Increases to wrath up to 57% CP removal.. not bad, not bad at all.
I'm a Fortune Seeker, so far I got spoil to +4 and spoil festival to +3 enchanted effect hp debuff. I've failed going +1 several times on spoil before finally getting it to +3. When I hit lvl 77 the other day I got it +4 on my first try. Spoil festival I got to +3 on my first try.^^ Each time you lvl the percentage of you succeding the enchant increases..
Wow. The sweeper enchant sounds awesome! Is it as awesome as it sounds? If so, my third sub is gonna be BH for sure!

Sweeper +1 Power
When used on corpses of monsters that have been spoiled, you can acquire extra items.
Enchant Power: possible to absorb HP from a corpse and regeneration amount is increased

Only the HP effect is new. The rest of it is the basic skill description - so no, no extra items. ;)
****. Would have been sweet if you could get actual "extra" items. They need to change that description imo, when you're supposed to get those items if the mob turns blue.
That is the original skill description of spoil - which, as with almost all enchanted skills, precedes the enchantment text. It makes sense, because spoil creates those extra items to get with sweeper, which are then displayed in blue. I believe that the enchantment part is highlighted in the game, and only the enchantment part is visible at the enchanting NPC, but don't quote me on that. Been a while since C4 PTS.
Yeah, I get that. And I think it should be changed. Let's leave it at that.
It's worth to mention that skill enchant chances increase the higher level you are.

At 76 it's around 80-84% each enchant up to and including +3, +4 is 40%.

At 77 the chance of success from +3 to +4 increases to 82ish%, then 80% to +5.

At 78, I heard +5 is 90% chance.

So is the debuff decent?
Think decay style debufff with valley of the saints burn effect. Really nice effect.

2000dmg debuff, probably the best debuff in the game...... Best thing about it, you can chain it lol. Stun+spoil debuff repeat.
The % of success goes way up if you get to 78, so try and hang in there and not do it until then (if you can stand it).
quick question, when you fail, do you lose the book bound to the skill aswell, or can you try again without getting a new book?

That was my question too. :)
Yes, you need a new book if you fail an enchant.

nope
already killed a lvl 60 sorc on my lvl 40 necro, thats way more than a third class ws can do
Do not believe the skill enchant % rates they are total crap.

This is my experience so far with Summon

+2 failed to +3 88% chance
Failed to +1 96% chance
+1 Failed to +2 92% chance
+3 failed to +4
+3 now

I do not know how you would really fail so many enchants at 86%+ sucess rate So I think it really means fail rate >,< I have given up trying untill I am lvl 78 I hear gettin to +9 is fairly easy at 78...

For summons +1 gives all stat boosts and a lvl up +1 for every one after gives about 10-15 p atck untill lvl 10 or 11? When it lvls again Dark Panther supposedly turns white at +11 UNCONFIRMED it was on the Rune Introduction video and could just be a rumor.
So, other than doing the 76 quest the first time and buying the books if they are reasonably priced in town, is there another way to replace the books?
from what i hear castles can make books and you can get them from the olympiad
any other ways?
By fishing from treasure chests. One of our clanmate earned the book of titans. His level of fishing expertise was about 20. I think the higher lvl of treasure chest the better chance.
What is book of titans?
I only know book of giants. -And giant's joke book :p
