Olorae en'Eveil sat quietly in the temple, whispering an incantation that would focus the stone, allowing her to speak to the spirit of her departed mother. No sooner had she begun than the hollow clicking of heels on stone nearly broke her concentration.

Whispering the final words of the incantation, she opened her eyes to see the unthinkable. An Einhasad Templar standing in the temple, slaughtering the gremlin slaves. She heard Oniyuri's voice chastizing the vlos og'elend for interrupting. The dark elven Templar left then, only to return some time later, after the celebrant had called down Shilen's blessings upon a youngling wizard.

"Do not waste your time," the Celebrant had told the Templar, who had begun to invoke arcane enchantments upon the fledgeling.

"Shush," came the response as the spellhowler left the temple.

The Celebrant followed after her, with the young warlock at her heels. They confronted the wizard as the assassin Sithiss and the Overlord AckeshVac closed from the village.

"You desecrate Her temple wearing that crest."

"It is just a building with an old statue," the Templar said. "Nothing important." The words were enough to cause the Celebrant to lose her control, lashing out with her blade. It would bite home, and a moment later the wizard would lurch forward as the assassin's blade struck her back, then she would crumple as the overlord drained the life from her body.

"Know this, Templar. You will never again defile Her temple. It is Her will now if you live or die." The Celebrant intoned the prayer to bring the wizard back from the brink of the Abyss, leaving it to the Dark Mother's will.

Soon enough, the spellhowler took a breath and took her feet, unsteady.

"Go now, and know that you are never welcome here again."

After provoking the young knight at the Wishing Well, the dual was called.

Two men stood, blades shining in the late afternoon sun. One man in shimmering mithril, the other in the dark leathers of his trade.

Seconds appointed, the men closed fast, a woman's honor at stake.

Steel met steel, the warriors trading blows. The knight slamming his shield against the Abyss Walker's skull, the sting of the blade clearing his mind. The dark elf darted here and there, his dagger repeatedly finding the weak holes in the knight's armor.

It was over almost as fast as it had begun. The assassin stood over the knight's fallen body.
((Note: The knight was also, what, 20 levels lower than the assassin? No mention of that, Olo? ;P))
((15, I think. I'm not sure. And this is coming from a fully IC perspective.))

((It was still a great fight.))
Stilettos not having shown up to the expedition around devestated castle, Turalyon and Laelyn went in search of her at her last known location, the Dark Forest. Finding the young spell howler they were soon told of the accusations of desecration and the attack upon her. An attack made by members of faction who had asked for peace from war not 2 months prior. Turalyon called for a few more of his order to search the area. Finding only one, a dark elf assassin. Turalyon had crossed paths with this one earlier, and as seemed common with this ilk, forked tongue seemed to be the weapon of choice. Again as such, the crooked banter had begun. Turalyon attempted to question the elf, when suddenly a gust of wind blew past Turalyon forcing him to cover his eyes from the dust storm. The chanting of lady Arias spells wrang through the air followed by the ripping sound of her hurricane. "ARIA STOP!" he yelled but it was to late. The dark elf lay motionless. "****it Aria I was trying to question him!" he yelled. Tobias, one of Arias subordinates spoke, "Dont worry paladin, I am sure he will speak when he comes to." Stiletos ran over kneeling by the unconcious assassin, she was quite upset. "Will you all just leave...please.." she asked. Turalyon was quite angered with the rash action of one of his commanders. Walking off towards the forest he began to reprimand his commander for such short sighted action. She left for floran to have her sins removed, and Turalyon turned back to the young spell howler, she confessed to having some friendship with the assassin, but would not elobrate. Returning to the city, Laelyn had located olorae. Turalyon looked to her, "I wish no dealings with that woman, one of theres has fallen and so has one of ours, I consider the matter closed." Laelyn nodded, and with that Stiletos and Turalyon returned to Giran.
