How to level a necro?

Hi all, so I finally made it my 1st toon to lvl 40 and I m going Necro.
Currently Im mostly levelling through raid groups, but is there any othe way? Because I went to IT and got wasted pretty fast by 2 enchanted gargoyles.
Anyone have any tips?
Darn SB are not for sale in shops anymore gotta hunt em?
Or buy em from another player who starts biddiing at 200k!
Im getting sucked in this game pretty fast (meaning ill have to play more and more and more).

No idea about leveling a Necro, I hate nukers... :D

But, all spellbooks after level 40 are drop only, so you have to go and hunt for them. Make sure you plan ahead for what you need, because many drop from lower level mobs than you can hunt at the time you need the book. I dont know where there is a list of drops anymore, but I am sure somebody will provide a link for you! :D

Yes, you can't buy any 40+ spellbooks in shops.You gotta hunt for them or buy from other players.

Most, if not all, golems are magic resist, so you'd be better off hunting mobs that...are not.

Have a look at this list (http://lineage2.stratics.com/content/library/monsters/zones.php?order=level) and look for areas in your level range, and look at the mobs' stats to see if they are resistant to your spells.

Necro is a great class, but expensive.(Bsps, cursed bones, gear, weapons, soe's, pots)

I have a lvl 69 necro on Erica. needless to say you will die a lot, I recommend you get a second acc and raise up a bishop for rez, and a SE to buff your self with empower and recharge your MP.

Once you get to 48 and learn death spike, at 48/49 flame strike really starts to fail a lot.

Not having top gear will cause you to die a lot, I recommend a homucus with acumen from 40 till about 55, by then hopefully you can afford a sword of Valhalla with acumen.

Get your tattoos as fast as you can specially the +4 wit - 4 men first. then +4 con, cause you will need the Extra HP for use with Body to mind. then +4 int. or +1 wit.

There is a quest from "Cema" in hardens academy, get that quest while hunting for your SB's under IT, cause then you can earn orbs that you can turn in for cursed bones. Something like 30 orbs needed for like 10 bones, give or take been well over a year since I've done that quest.

Necro is one of the best PvP nukers, once you get your summons don't use them in PvE, they are ment for PvP. and you need a corpse of a mob or other summon to call out the summon, a guard works to.

try to stay away from the necro's and cat's they are mostly resist dark atk,. which is all that necro gets.

Raid bosses are nice to use for lvling use it as much as you can.

Don't forget you use BTM, and walk(your mp regens a lil faster in walk mode 'too bad necro don't get clear mind tho'), your mp is needed with out it you will die, and necro is one of the best MP management nukers. next to the SH.

theres more to know, just don't forget to use BTM, I see so many people that don't know how to use BTM and VC to get back their MP... like I said Necro is one of the top MP management nukers.

your main nuke is death spike (DS) and second nuke is vamp claw(VC), VC is very expencive mp nuke, and will be more so come C5. your primary MP will come from BTM and corpse life drain(to return your HP). then BTM all of the way down, VC then DS your mobs.

XP comes fastest from 1X hp mobs, mostly field mobs, stay away from archers, even with a shield they will eat tho it and kill you.

! handed weapons are best for necro with a shield.

I used karmain for C robes then used zubie for B, but I think speed set up, with highly O/E weapon for DMG is best route to take. so for B get avadon set.
