I am still loving the game and even though nit is pvp that okay Im handling that .......In general as well there are a decent bunch of people on the teon server.
However the last couple of days I have seen some selfish annoying things happen which could potentially ruin the game for many people .......if people are grouped with who think it is okay for them to snatch loot from another persons kill.
Anyway I was soloing at gludio doing a quest to kill lizardmen gaurds , scouts and spiders .......I have been doing this a while trying to make cash as im new to the game .......next a guy invites me to a raid group.......now the raid grp didnt have enough player so people were continueing solo until the group was big enough .....hence everyone was at there own places doing whatever (loot was on free for all) . After much hours and no decent drops I killed a lizardmen 100% solo doing 100% damage and a comp bow dropped ........I was about to go and get it and this guy SonyK(who was in grp i just got invited to) comes over and knicks the bow ....I said in group chat cmon thats my bow you just ninjad .....can I get it back ........he didnt answer and I sent him a few tells and he just ignored me.
I know im screwed in regards to the bow but the way I see it I was scammed by this idiot as I 100% soloed the mob and was doing so before the group. Although I know I cant do anything about it I would just reccommend that anyone who is in a raid party , if that SonyK is in it dont group with him ......I mean if thats what hes like with low value stuff whats he gonna be like later? and to me you want people you can trust.
Long and short SonyK is a Ninja and to me that = scum , people should be fair at the end of the day I mean say loots on random and I dont get the drop thats the way it goes but if underhand stuff like what this SonyK has done is not frowned upon that is sad indeed
Ok so this is a forum where you cant say anthing about bots without it being in one place convienantly ignored by admins and also a place where loot ninjas can rome free based on rule technicalities? .......fair enough I will know in future , also yes it is fact , Im not gonna come of a game im enjoying to make that up .........it is also for the benefit of other players who dont want to work there butt off and get there hard earned spoils snatched away from them.
Never the less if thats the way this forum works I need not post again about anything like this.
Actually, you can talk about bots as much as any reasonable person would want to - they keep popping up all over, and that rule about bot/farmer threads is not enforced if things don't go out of hand.
As for ninja looting, you can write about it all you want, even poiting names, since it's not against the rules and just a scummy thing to do.

Yes I agree with this I only stated the facts and talking in general now is ninja looting NOT a scum thing to do? . Maybe I shouldnt have said the word scum but its the way I personally feel about people that ninja .........if thats wrong so be it.

In regards to character assasanation the way I see it if people give out abuse in any shape or form they should be willing to accept consequances e.g shunned or whatever else.....I mean I politely spoke to this person 4 times and they ignored me so they obviously new what they were doing .
And if people didn't keep deciding they had something better to do than raid while they wait, that would be even more peachy.
In regards to the above ^^^ Look they invited ME to their group and there was OTHERS from that group in the same area SOLOING while 1 person in the group was getting members .....how was I to know when the group was ready to go , I got an invite I took it ......checked my map and saw that 2 or 3 of the group was nearish me. At the end of the day I just want in a group with people who dont contain 1 or 2 people that think they have some divine right to get the best of everything, regardless of this your argument doesnt mean a thing to me as
I soloed the mobs I had been doing for like 1 hour before that and the minute this guy saw the drop from the mob he done 0dmg to he came over looked at me then grabbed the comp bow left the money and ran of ........so by your statement you are saying that this is acceptable because i was in a raid group and not sitting on my butt doing nothing until the group was full(even though all but one or 2 were doing the same, hence why the loot was on finders keepers). All I can say is I was happy soloing and they asked ME to help them after which one of them steals from me.
Also the idea was put the loot on finders keepers so that people can still work away whilst waiting ........this seems a perfectly logical idea to me and then when the raid starts put loot on random including spoils
If you played Kain or Erica I'd help you out...but sadly you play teon.(note I have nothing against teon)

Of course it's a scum thing to do, and I don't agree with it one bit. I just explained why your thread might get locked or deleted, which it probably won't anyway, seeing as it's been open for some time now. :)
I didnt read every post and this might have been said, but the reason this game is what it is and is fun(at least for me) is that situations like this can be solved in game. Put him on your KOS list, grief him, its all legal here. Next time you see him out soloing train him, or just plain out PK him. Thats how issues like this should be solved. If he is a ninja looter...Kill him.. people have been killed people for less.

yup i agree, just to give you a sad example, this happened to me a month back when i had just started playing, i hit lvl20 and i still wasnt aware of what weapon enchants and armor enchants were, so i'm near SoDA (School of Dark Arts) with my DE PK soloing. suddenly i turn this corner of a stone and i see the orc (lvl 59) standing there with full B armor. so i stopped and being nice, i /socialhello him and started up a convo with him, he asks me what lvl i'm so i tell him that him that i'm lvl20 and i just started playing this recently. he then decides to trade with me, and he puts a EAC and a EWC in this window, since i had no clue what these were i ask him, he says "oh its a gift you can have it, you'll need it later on." me being a total noob, i accept the trade. after this, he comes up closer and basically opens up a can of [censored]on me. surprising i say what the hell are you doing (i even try to run but his dmg was too much, too fast), his response was, "y did you take my stuff?" luckily i didnt drop anything, and i still have those two scrolls but never did understand as to y he'd give me valuable items as an excuse to PK me, oh well...
but yes back to the OP, there are some "interesting" people playing this game. GL in the future.
That orc would be a greifer. Did you flag back or did he go red?(not that going red really matters anymore with the sin eater quest). I had someone do that while my PW was in NG training bots in NoS. I lied about my lvl because he seemed lke an enforcer, he gave me some no grade junk, then he yellled that I stole it an attacked me.....he died. Point is this game is designed on open PvP(maybe not well balanced, but thats another story). If you think someone needs to be taught a lesson, do it, but you might have to suffer the consequences, but that is what makes this game great.
Just so you know... accusing a specific person (even if it is true) is going to get this thread locked or removed.
My understanding of this rule is that you cannot accuse specific folks of conduct violating the EULA (so-and-so bots, or so-and-so ebay'ed 10 million adena,) or if your post engages in name-calling or insults of an offensive nature (so-and-so is a ***-eating piece of ***) I believe you can recount stories of behavior that is within the rules, even if uncomplementary to the other player as long as it is civil.
Warning others of scamming players, PKing players, or those that steal does not violate this rule in my opinion.

razek, if you want to get awesome drops. Swim from DEV to Rune then run to Cursed Village area, theres usually tons of adena drops there. An hour or so of picking them up will net you enuogh to buy a composite bow if you really need it.... Or you can be cheap and mooch off rich high levels :/
well yeah i agree with that kind of scrolls, he could have killed me all he wanted, LoL. man i should've wrote down his name somewhere, for just in case future PKing. oh well all i know is he's on hindemith. but anyhow, it is the game, so cant say much, just gotta be careful and enjoy :)
I think the big leson is to not enter a party that has loot on finders keepers. Thats just ripe for people to get greedy on loot. Specialy a raid party sounds like someone would have been spamming pickup if the raid had went through then more than just you would have been upset.
But like other people have said that individual would be on my permanent KOS list.

Point taken about the finders keeprs in rbp and at least although people have there own views , well they are not entirely discrediting all points of views that differ from there own in some ways. Thats heartning
