How dependend on M Attk are healers for the strength of their heals? I've been told conflicting things by other players. Some say it's just as important as for nukers, others say it doesn't matter at all.
It's not totally unimportant, but it quickly becomes far less important for healers than for nukers...which is funny, because there's supposedly a slowdown for nukers as well (MAtk benefit, not Power/Castspeed benefit).
I don't know if it's totally accurate, but a cube-root effect seems to fit for heals (the cube root of your MAtk is factored in). The number may be wrong, as I haven't ever bothered to do a definitive test, but the idea is there--MAtk doesn't do nothing, but each progressive point does significantly less than the previous point. There even comes a turning point where large increases in MAtk only change a total heal by a few points out of hundreds.
MAtk dosn't make a *huge* differance on heals...or I should say, it dosn't make a huge differance compared to the jump that someone would get if they were a nuker.
I can't remember the exact numbers, but I remember when I got my homuk...first thing I did was heal myself to see change in heal#. Then try it again with Bsps. The biggest jump was from the use of a higher grade Bsps :)
It does however make a differance on non-healing (such as sleep and root)
