Damage from Baium

I realize he is being killed upon spawning nowadays, however, I was curious if any mage classess such as healers or nukers have woken him up since C4 and if so was the damage from him enough to kill you?

apparently this switched somewhere since c4 release. My old guild leader 75 DA hit UD and awoke baium and was killed by him, however when I subbed I had my BD UD and wake him up and he was able to survive just fine.

And so the idea if you die is that someone rezzes you quickly and you hit him again to fulfil the quest?

Actually the idea is that you bring a friend along and have them wake him up. Then you ***** him with your dagger and blessed soe.

Your friend just has to log off for 30 mins and then appears in town i believe. After which you can blessed rez him/her.

Nah, the idea is that someone else wakes Baium for you, dies, you hit Baium while he is occupied mangling that other person, and then you bsoe.Then the other one logs, waits 30 min or so, logs on again and gets res'd right outside TOI.

Well, actually I think the idea is that your ally RAIDS Baium and you hit him while doing that :)

Edit: the damage Baium does to the one waking him varies wildly. I heard of people getting hit for only like 1000 and surviving, while others (dagger in DC light) got hit for 800k, and I think the record still is held by Ethilias who woke Baium naked (so he did not drop anything) for about 7.8m :)

Just summon him, log out, log in and hit him....works wonders.

He smacked me for 4.5 mil damage but I was dressed to die.

ive woken him with my se sub 3 times in c4 and survived every time, 2 times escaping being hit all togeather, however we were raiding him so maybe the aggro was pulled off me pretty quickly.

That gives me an idea. If it's not a skill, reflect damage would 1 shot Baium...

Baium has almost 1million HP. Have 50% reflect and thats 3million damage roughly. May we have found another exploit? Or does Reflect Damage only do back exactly what Baium does to you (total HP with reflect damage?)

Tried that one already out on a standard raid boss with a lvl 1 toon+blazing skin. Apparently you have to be ALIVE to deal back damage. I.e. raid boss hits you, you die, and no damage is reflected. There is no "you dealt x damage" message when you get one-hitted by the boss. That was why the fossilize exploit worked - you did not die.

Otherwise Antharas raids would be very easy - just go in with somebody who can buff some kind of reflect damage skill plus a kamikaze squad. Oh, and a dwarf to pick up all the goodies :)
