What's New?

Returning player here, not sure if anyone remembers me but I used to play from Open Beta on and off to the beginning of Chronicle 3. Now that college life has settled down for a while, I'm back to see what's new in the land of Aden.

If anyone out there has been around for a while and would like to fill me in on what has changed since my absence, your assistance would be much appreciated.

Oh my god! Soo very good to see you back! I hope all is well with you.

Nice to see a few familiar faces again. I almost missed the forums as much as the game itself. I've been doing pretty well in college life, albeit a bit busier than I'd like to be. I'm currently redownloading the game client, but I'm not sure where to start sifting through the new game material.

Are Kiranya, KariTR, and the Board Devil still around btw? I saw a couple other familiar faces while searching through the new posts, but nothing from those three.

EDIT: DM's still here, though not as active as back in the day. Haven't seen Kari around and Kiranya is on a long break I believe.

I left about the same time and came back about 4 months ago.

Here goes. Seven Signs are just as pointless as ever. The carbon copy dungeons are one of the few decent places left to level. Mobs are pretty thin in the field. They made sure to kill all other hunting.

90% of the lagit players are gone. the remainder asre mostly legit on the surface, but most used other ways to get there A grade. The die hard lagit players gave up long ago.

If you go on any non-official forums, talk of automating a buffer is every where and completely accepted. The few people that post here and complain about the forbiden subject are the minoraty. Most others learned to tolorate it or embrace it.

As for me, a 30 mil weapons now costs 50 mil because of ebayers. A clean Bow of Peril. Since I can't afford that I made a WS. I won't be leveling my archer untill I've made enough to equipe him. Should take about 45 days of work for B grade. Maybe 6 months for A grade with an SA......

Farmers beat Antheras on Sieg. Prices still rose. They joined a major alliance that openly bots/ebays/powerlevels. So now we get griefed by farmers under FUBU protection.

C5 looks cool, I have an idea to profit off changes to the game. I won't say what but it should make a lot.

I've seen L2 in decline before, but if C5 fixes nothing I think L2 is getting closer to game over.
