PVP and pets

Here i was doing my wolf quest, and, finished, i summoned it to see, first time. ok, i did it in dwarf starter town, and had some gear with me, ready to test it out :)

So, 5 second later, the first dwarf with a name as random alphabet soup, runs and hit me, and soon, my wolf was lying there :(
After that, i needed to go to shop to get a ress scroll, and found him CAMPING my wolf >.<
So, now, i got my wolf safe, but, i wonder, is i to expect every random noob to attempt to kill my pets as soon they is seen? -_-

no every random noob will not attack your pet.

I leveled my wolf 17 levels without anyone attempting to kill it.
Hopefully you killed the pet killer?

it happened to me when i first got my wolf too... 2 lv 16 or so jerks went and pk me and my wolf... how ironic... is that i was just trying to figured out how to use all the buttons on the wolf's action window... then bad luck trike and now i got it delvled due to my lack of the inability to heal about a near 2lvs off... hopefully to get it back and up soon.. cuz going to borrow my friend's proph. to keep my wolf from dying for a while... she just won't be lvling anytime soon, but my wolf will... i hope...

hmm so you say a player with a random name. kinda makes me wonder. wolves are normal mobs around the dwarven starter village. So do these random name players just see a wolf and attack? if..I would go out there with my wolf. get it killed. rez. repeat 4 more times. and then make this player pop like a pinata. maybe i just dont understand the circumstance for what happened. But it kinda seems like something that would work? eh heres to hoping. and will give me a good experiment anyway.

Not a chance in the world to kill him(new dorf ws a farmer dorf in metal armor??), i just attempted to SAVE my wolf, since his purpose was to CAMP my wolf's corpse until it DIED.

Return to town, SOE, your pet will go with you.

Hm yeah, I can see how that would be tough.
Weird behavour from a farmer though. They don't make any money going red on pets.
I wonder if this wasn't a real player disguising himself as a farmer for some odd reason.

hmm... never seen that... and yes... tons of bots out in dwarven village for odd reasons i do not know... many are near the mithril mine or somewhere way out there... metal armors would be in bronze set... i would assume... might want to move to some place safe and summon pet out, then maybe lv it...

u go red and gain karma, but your pk count doesn't change, so if they have 0 pks... they will still have 0 pks even if they kill your wolf 500 times.

that's wonderful to know, sure hope no one kill my wolf now... though aggro mobs take the like in killing it than ppl... Y_Y

ok cool thanks for clearing that up for me. Im always looking for new ways to mess with the random name players. :p
