I was wondering what each stat a character starts out with stands for and what each one does. If each class is different, I am currently a Dark Elf Assasin and want to go PR-->GS. I didn't buy L2 in a store. I downloaded it off of file planet and I have not seen anywhere that explains these stats. Any info would help.
Oh and also are their ever items that directly increase these stats? I know things like P. Atk for example is influenced by STR but are there any items that actually give me more STR as oppose to P. Atk.
Here (http://www.lineage2.com/news/chronicle2_05.html) is a link to the Chronicle 2 page which lists the effects of each stat. A couple things may be outdated as I haven't been around for a while, but as of C3 at least these descriptions were accurate.
As for increasing stats, there are only 2 ways that I know of and they usually involve sacrificing one stat to gain another. The first case is having a tattoo added to your character (it's not actually visible). To do this you'll need to be level 20 (or 40 for any good tattoo), and obtain 10 tattoo dyes of the same type. The best tattoos add +4 to a stat and subtract 4 from a different stat.
The other way to improve stats is through completing specific armor sets, though those that change stats are also generally high level equipment. In most cases they also only add as many stat points as they take away from other areas.
It's difficult to greatly change how your stat points are organized, so if certain stats appeal to you you'll have to select a specific race that has them in abundance.
