I have personal stuff that have come up that will keep me from playing the game for a month or 2. will they keep my chars? i hope so since ive spent all my time to lvl them.
Everything is kept indefinitely, if NC decides to change this policy we'll be notified (as stated in the TOS). I can personally confirm this as I've left the game for months at a time more than once, and just got back from one such hiatus.
Hope to see you around in a couple of months, good luck with your personal stuff.
Obviously forever, i played a few years(dunno for sure) back in C1 and I just reinstalled it a month ago, was suprised to see my Assassin still there with everything, even my ******ed chars were there.

Same, was away for two years, they DO warn you they're gonna delete your characters, but when I came back, Rhina was there to greet me :p
