Well I finally had it with them, it was just too much this time, they had crossed the line. I just HAD to be severe.
So I gave them a 72 hour ban because of the issues you all know so well (some of us moan and groan, and some of us put their money where their mouth is).

Well, not quite. I really am giving out trial codes.
The "not so fun" part about these trial codes is that you still need a retail code after the first 14 days to be able to continue.
I would have made trial codes as a legitemate key to a L2 account. You'd get much more retention out of your trial codes this way. And any person working in MMO's knows the money in is the monthly fees, specially when your game has been out for 2 years+.
Oh well, here is to hoping for new and improoved trial codes.
I have an old clanmate (who's on break right now) who has a friend interested in trying out L2. He's pretty big on MMOs so he's interested in at least playing for the trial to see if it's something he'd like to pay for.
If possible, I'd like a code to deliver to him. If any complications arise (such as not having a CC and one is required, I can't remember if the trial codes work that way) then I'll just send it back.
