---Hi all,,,, am lvl 33 and yet i failed to understand the difference between a heavy armor and a light armor, i know that heavy armor are stronger but heaver, but wat is the actual difference ? i mean does it make u walk slower or something, cause i tried with my heavy armor on me, my speed was 126 and without it , it was still 126.. so wat is the difference ?
---i know when u get recommended couple time ur name start to change from white to blue,,,,well do u get anything for having a blue name or any special abilities or features ?
---How come u cant get weapons and armors for babypets ?
i recently got myself a baby buffalo, its totally useless its p.atk is 2 O.o,,
---How can u get pvp point ? i killed someone in the arena and i didnt get any ...
---After reading alot i found out, that the only way to get some decent income in this game , is to make a artisian, so i did, i was able to get him to lvl 20 in 2 days, after that i thought ill start making some ssd and start selling, just to see how much can i earn from dss, i ended up earning nothing well this is how it went :
materials for dss is : 3 soul ore and 1 d crystal
1 soul ore = 325 adena x3 = 975
1 d crystal =650 adena
975 + 650 = 1625 adena gone for 150 dss.
So if i sell each dss for 12 adena 12x150 = 1800
Heavy Armor provides more defense, while Light Armor provides an evasion boost. This however only applies if you have the proper masteries for your armor type, specifically Light Armor is quite useless without the evasion boost granted by the Light Armor passive mastery. If you have no armor masteries than Heavy Armor would be better since its initial defense is higher.
Having a blue name offers no special abilities, it's just a mark of status that doesn't mean much as the rec system is wildly abused.
Sorry, I don't anything about buffalo. I do know that wolves have a separate vendor which sells weapons.
To get a PvP point you have to kill someone who is purple in real combat outside of the arena, meaning that you both consented to fight and no pking is involved. I'm not sure if this applies to sieges as well.
Selling soulshots doesn't have a high profit yield, what it does offer is consistent and reliable money over a long period of time. Personally I found using a dwarf Scavenger/Bounty Hunter to be an easier way to make money, though I do also have an Artisan to make a small amount of money when I don't have materials onhand to sell.
PvP points just keep track of how many purples you've killed out there. Like the rec system they also don't give any abilities, and the only way to show them to other players is to take a screenshot.
