Was curious what the level gap is for 2 people teaming together and both getting exp.
I thought I remember reading somewhere that 7 to 9 levels above a mob to 7 to 9 levels below a mobs level. Would that make a level 40 player team with a level 26 player and they both get decent exp if mobs were level 33?
I have a level 47. Was really wondering what the lowest level person I could team with and they would be able to get good exp?
Even a very low level character will get good experience when partying with a high level killing high level mobs. They won't get much XP as such, but the % will be a lot higher than for the high level one. The best xp comes from mobs that are green to light blue for the higher level character.
I've been partying with a 69 sorcerer on my 57 SE, I get 7% for each % he gets.
yea but you forgot something. if im not misstaken, there is a xp penalty if its more than 10 levels between the players in the group. but yes, the lower lvl character will always get good xp.
I noticed the same thing. Me being level 47 teamed with level 65s. I was getting less exp then I would solo. Since mobs are higher, have more hp, takes longer to kill. So I could actually solo at 47 faster (on undead), but would be slower as there would eventually be downtime if I solo, moreso then if teamed.
